The Sächsischer Hof was built in 1680 by the Cranzahl carpenter Michael Otto. Until 1810, the building served as the town hall of Scheibenberg and was continuously owned by the Jäger family from 1824 to 1995, who purchased it from the town of Scheibenberg for 624 gold thalers. Mr. Carl Christian Jäger received the first liquor license for our establishment on April 22, 1882. Since then, the building has been called the "Hotel Sächsischer Hof." In 1993, the building was completely remodeled and used for its current purpose.
