Find the Cheap Formigal Hotels

I don't understand some of the reviews I have been reading here. The hotel is a pleasant place where to be. Aesthetics is not “occupater” as I have read there, it is modern, although it requires a maintenance pass. The spa is very pleasant and quite complete, a vapour sauna and Finnish sauna, hot stone hammam, several swimming pools, including a contrast pool, highlights the outdoor pool with views to the Fraile cascade. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very large and the bathroom was huge, but it was very good to say that the room was slightly sliced. We stopped here for one night en route to Valencia. Very good experience: good, comfortable room, excellent dinner (two great value fixed price menus with water and generous wine included). Friendly, efficient service in the bar and restaurant. Rooms at a fair rate, but the price of food and drinks made this an inexpensive stay. Un petit bémol: I understand that Spanish hotels don't believe the summer begins until July, but, with the temperature at 27, sitting on the terrace with a view of a green swimming pool was not pleasant.

My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary here. We chose it for the intriguing promise of history and luxury in the Pyrenees and we were not disappointed. We drove from San Sebastián and the weather was mist and rainy, very atmospheric. We had checked in online and our reception was smooth and efficient, and was made even better with a delicious glass of cava. Our room was extraordinary, luxurious and comfortable. The attention to detail is impeccable. We had a little trouble with the air conditioning but maintenance sorted it out efficiently within minutes. The bed was dreamy, the pillows and linen high quality. The bathroom and amenities were above and beyond what is normally offered. We had a lovely cocktail in The Library bar with a very charming and attentive bar man. Dinner at The International restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were delightful. We slept soundly on our cloud-like bed and awoke to a glorious sunny day. The view from our room was gorgeous. I opened the window and listened to the mountain silence and then the birds. It was heaven. Breakfast is outstandingly good. There is a cold buffet and you can choose a cooked breakfast from an extremely interesting menu. I had a delicious Aragon fried egg and Spanish chorizo and breadcrumb dish. Yum! There is a lot to see here from a historical perspective and it really added to the whole experience. It’s beautiful here, wherever you look. Thank you to everyone here for our extraordinary stay.
