Find the Cheap Vilanova I La Geltru Hotels

This is an exceptional travel experience I had by far. The front desk lady is amazingly helpful. I had an emergency there in Barcelona, and she tried all her best capacity to help me through the situation. I owe her for this type of extraordinary favor. The room I had is a loft, and it’s a well structured room. On top of the hotel staff, the local people are so nice too. It’s a small town, but has a big vision. The hotel is located in a very convenient spot along the beachside. You can get all the seafood you want easily. Literally speaking you are walking to the beach.

Negatives Room above the restaurant was noisy from The people below and bottles being thrown into the recycle bank before 8am. We were a family of three. The third person slept on the sofa- thru were left with two sheets and used the spare pillow from the wardrobe- definitely an afterthought. The view of other apartments, unless you stretched over to see the pool ( block B first floor) room also smelt of cooked food on our arrival and the smell lingered throughout. Room booked for three but third person needed to make up their bed on the sofa and just given two sheets. We arrived late at night and on arrival no shops were open and the restaurant had closed. We needed some water and milk but the vending machine was out of order so we didn’t have anywhere until The next morning. We asked reception but they just pointed us to the vending again. Cleaner came to the room just before 10am each morning but we were still in the room getting ready. They didn’t return. I had emailed the hotel prior to arrival but didn’t get a response- this was a first for us so it may be our email went into their spam or it was overlooked. Positives Pool area nice, staff polite and friendly, and location handy. Would we return? No, much nicer places to stay

Vilanova i la Geltrú is a beautiful hidden gem with not too many tourists and an amazing beach (if you are looking for a little more bustle, nightlife and touristy stuff then Sitges is a short 10 min train ride away). Solvi Hotel is also a hidden gem. The staff were attentive and friendly. Location was excellent, only a 5 min walk to the beach and close to numerous restaurants. If you need gluten free (safely ) then Pika Tapa is the best place to go with amazing food! The rooftop bar was really well maintained and decorated with fabulous views and again, excellent service. Our room was sufficient and comfortable with air conditioning. No kettle or fridge but bed was comfy and the bathroom, whilst small, was clean and functional. We had a side sea view balcony which meant that we didn't face the main road and didn't feel too exposed. All in all a great place to stay and would definitely book again.

The reception is very good, well-equipped, with a small terrace. But the soundproofing of the room is very poor, and the customers next door make a lot of noise, which lasts until almost one o'clock in the morning. In the end, the price/performance ratio is good. The location is a 5-minute walk from the train station and very close to the passport center, which is about 9 minutes.

Excellent staff throughout, but particularly helpful on reception. This hotel is not situated in either the town of Sitges nor in the large village of Sant Pere de Ribes, but is located midway between the two in a very quiet residential area, with a very decent restaurant within 100 metres, and a useful shopping centre 20 minutes walk away. Breakfast was very good and quite laidback, whilst the evening menu was enjoyable, although our waiter struggled a bit with some English words ( like menu, wine, bread...). But we were is off the tourist trail Spain, and it was really up to us to be positive as to what we needed. Our room on the top floor had all we required and was well maintained, very clean and had a view of the pool. Very well equipped bathroom, large bed, excellent storage space - we were there for a nearby wedding and had a mountain of clothing... The bar was always manned , usually by reception, and had a very ood range of alcoholic , and non alcoholic beverages. The pool area was peaceful, even serene, and definitely a sun trap. One of the best things about the Hotel Desitges was the staff, throughout our stay they were very much on board making our stay special. All the reception staff were very helpful, it was really all about Ebe ( I really do hope I got the name correct).and she went out of here way to ensure that we got transport to the wedding and later back to BCN airport - our stay would not have been anything like as enjoyable without her assistance, and recommendations. The hotel is huge... So it takes me quite a while walking to reception, but I do love the restaurant and the bar. And room service there was excellent. It would be perfect if the Wi-Fi signals could be better. Overall I would love to have another stay in this hotel.

This is our second visit to Sitges and to this hotel, and we have no doubt that we will return again! The hotel location is perfect if you want to stay in a quieter area of Sitges, but want proximity to the beach. The beach is literally a 1 minute walk from the hotel, and it is a lovely small and sheltered beach which wasn't too busy when we visited (early October and early June). Further into Sitges the beaches seem to be busier. The walk to Sitges is about 20-25 minutes along the promenade. We walked it day and night (quite late) and always felt very safe. There is also a tourist train that picks up at a stop outside the hotel every 30 minutes, although this seemed to have a reduced frequency in October. It's 2.50e for a ticket. We stayed in the Superior studio apartment on both visits, first time having a side view of the sea and adjacent golf course. This side got the sun in the evening. Second time we were above the hotel entrance directly looking on the seafront, and this got the sun in the morning. The apartments are very spacious and we found them very well maintained and clean. There is a coffee machine (a few pods are provided but you can buy more in the supermarket which is underneath the hotel), kettle, stove top, microwave, washing machine, iron, mop, clothes horse, all kitchen and dining equipment, and cleaning equipment. The balcony was very spacious, plenty of space if you need to dry clothes. We dined in the Vento restaurant a few times, eating out on the terrace overlooking the sea. The menu has burgers, steaks, etc. and we enjoyed our meal. It is a bit more expensive than some of the other restaurants we dined at in Sitges, but for convenience and the view it was worth it. There are a few other restaurants onsite, however we did not try these. The supermarket downstairs has all you need, including fresh pastries and bread, fruit and veg, magazines, wine, freezer and fridge foods, etc. The outdoor pool area was very clean and is quite the sun trap early in the day. We didn't try the indoor pool or spa facilities so cannot comment on these. The hotel also provides free bicycles if you fancy a cycle into Sitges on the promenade. Finally, the staff we encountered were all lovely, friendly and helpful to us, providing instructions on how to get to certain places and assisting with booking a car. We are already looking forward to our next visit here!
