3.5/5
AAnnettekissThe hotel is located away from the noisy center. Opposite there is a huge stadium and a park with a stele. We arrived before dark, we were told that the hotel has a swimming pool and saunas. Closer to 18:00 I went to the pool, but they told me that it was already closed. It was strange, because it was still light, and the pool was indoors. The saunas were turned off, but they turned them on for me. After the spa, we decided not to look for a restaurant, but to eat in the hotel restaurant, because this hotel is one of the best in the city. The trip to the restaurant was a complete disappointment. They tried to seat us twice with a group of Italians, although we assured them that we were not with them. The waitress did not understand English, asked another waiter to clarify about drinks, we had to repeat. The food was terrible. The promised steak was not a steak, but an overcooked piece of stringy beef. It was impossible to chew. Left hungry, we ordered pizza. It would seem that it cannot be spoiled, but no! It was a piece of dough with a lot of cheese and dried out chicken crumbles. There were no spices or salt. It's beyond comprehension how you can ruin a pizza. Everything tasted bad at breakfast, even the omelet. After the tour, we were returning to the hotel, where we spent several hours before the plane. We gave the restaurant a second chance. I couldn't chew the meat, so I returned it. We ordered burgers, but the meat in the cutlets smelled - apparently it was not fresh, we got food poisoning. The only positive thing was that the waiters brought plates of fruit every time as an apology. If you decide to eat at this restaurant, only order papaya. They couldn't ruin it. For the first time in our lives, we encountered such tasteless food. I don't know how they do it. We liked the room. The only thing was that in the morning we could hear singing from the mosque, it is located somewhere close to the hotel. I eventually got to the pool. For a cap, without which they won't let you swim, they ask you to pay 100 birr. The hotel is good. I can recommend it, but it's better not to eat anything there until the cook changes.

DDANHUAThe hotel should be the 2nd hotel in Merklee. There are enough rooms and the conditions are worse than the domestic budget hotels. It is still very good in Africa. The Ethiopian national football team also lived in the hotel. There is a street girl in the back alley of the hotel. The front door is the main street. The safety is very good. In short, the price is still there.
