"Excellent location, within 10 minutes walk to nearby supermarkets and bars. Bus stop for taking buses to Santa Claus Village and Railway Station is also nearby. Right next to the hotel there’s Beyond Arctic Adventures where we booked our Northern Lights Tour. Breakfast buffet wasn’t a huge spread but still a pretty good selection overall. No hairdryer in our room, and the heater wasn’t really working. There’s a shared kitchen as well so we were able to cook our own meals."

"The facilities were okay, but the room was small; it was a bit cramped for two people. The hot water ran out halfway through my shampoo. They said they would collect the towels left on the floor and replace them, but there was no housekeeping service. The towels were only brought after I specifically asked for them; it felt more like Airbnb service. When I asked for clean towels, they brought them, but the door wasn't closed… when I returned, the door was open."

"I caught the RV train from Helsinki, which was relaxing and a brilliant way to see the countryside. Arriving into Rovaniemi at 21:20, it was a short cab drive to the hotel,and with 24/7 reception checking was a breeze. Twin room 410 was well appointed, clean, and beds were comfortable; the room safe was easy to set and use. I appreciated the door chain for extra security and peaceful night sleep. Santas Hotel central location was excellent ,with the padestrian mall, shops, restaurants, and bars literally around the corner. Taxis could be found out front, and the santa/airport bus was only a short walk up the street. Though do pay attention to santa express pickup and drop-off times as they do not run that regularly. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone to enjoy! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel made my inner child smile.😊 There are many attractions, so be sure to give yourself enough time to experience everything. I will definitely choose to stay again next time I travel to Rovaniemi. Sha, Sydney, Australia. 🇦🇺"

"The environment and facilities are very good and the room is clean. Dinner buffet and breakfast are rich. The room has a northern lights alarm clock. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. The only drawback is that the shuttle bus fare is expensive. The train station costs $30/person one way, and $20/person to the city centre."

"Although we didn't see the Northern Lights, overall we were very satisfied with this hotel. The service was great; they even allowed us to check in early. The room was better than expected; despite its size, the large glass windows and glass roof made it feel quite open and not as cramped as I'd imagined. The shower water pressure was a bit low, but sufficient, and the temperature was good. Breakfast was included, and the quality was excellent and filling. For dinner, they had a special offer that gave us one free main course per person (starters and other à la carte items cost extra). The portions were generous, and the food tasted great. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from Santa Claus Village, which is an acceptable distance, though it might be a bit challenging if you're dragging luggage. The hotel notifies guests via an in-room iPad if the Northern Lights are visible. It would have been amazing if we had seen them, but unfortunately, the night we stayed was cloudy with light rain. Nevertheless, if you need a place to stay near Santa Claus Village for a night, I think this is a pretty good option overall."

"We had a wonderful stay at Nova Skyland! The place was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The room was spacious and even had a bidet, which I really appreciated. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it for the comfort and quality. We were very happy to have booked this hotel. If I had to point out one small downside, it’s that the room downstairs didn’t have a heater."

It was incredibly convenient to visit Santa’s office, cross the Arctic Circle, and enjoy the various winter activities like husky sledding and reindeer rides. Plus, the breathtaking snowy landscapes made for unforgettable moments. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection of hot and cold dishes, including traditional Finnish options. The on-site restaurants also provided delicious meals, with a cozy ambiance perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ensuring guests had the best experience possible. Whether it was arranging activities or providing recommendations, their service was top-notch."

"The hotel's surroundings are okay. It's about a 20-minute walk to the city center, and only about a 6-8 minute walk to the train station. The nearest supermarket is also about an 8-minute walk away, making it very convenient."
