Find the Cheap Gentilly Hotels

I stayed here for 3 nights with my friend. The room was small (barely enough room to open the suitcase up). The beds were comfy but the room got so hot in the night we both slept awfully and kept waking up sweating. The bathroom was tiny and mouldy. The shower was however a good shower and body wash was provided. The hotel is within 10 minute walk of the bus and train stations so handy and easy to get into the city centre. I left money in the room and we came back that evening, i was missing 25 euro. We then the next day left the sign on the door for our room to not be touched however this was ignored and cleaners had been in. Left feeling very unhappy and will not recommend this hotel or stay again.

The cabin room was actually pretty small & tight to start with. It actually is a 4 bed dormitory divided into 4 cabins (made of wood). There isn't enough space in the room because it's literally just the bed. So you can easily hear what the other person is playing on the mobile. Moreover, the breakfast is pretty basic. The staff at the reception was very helpful, I requested for a late checkout and they helped me.

We visited Paris for 3 nights , 4 days. I was apprehensive as its a budget hotel but I was blown away by this establishment. Check in was a breeze, nice friendly staff. Parking we paid for was around £15 a day. The carpark was very tight as we were in a 7 seater but it was secure and on site which is a blessing in Paris. The rooms are basic with a double bed and bunk setup, two rooms we had were identical. One with a view of the hotel front and another the hotel rear, both rooms only about 5 metres apart. Nice clean bed linen, towels and handtowels. Body and hair wash complementary in pump attached to shower wall. There was a TV in each room with remote on which we watched the ladies European championships final. Breakfast was 6am to 930am. Continental breakfast , coffees and juice. Plentiful and always stocked up. Kids loved it.. Hotel was a 10 min walk from metro station and commuting to various area of the city was a really easy. The only minor thing was noise on one night (around 130am) of other guests on our floor, this I know is something that can't be helped but it really would not deter us returning to this hotel or recommending it. Great value for money, great breakfasts, parking onside and good location for communities. We recommend to anyone.

Do not waste your money here!! Yes the price is lower than other hotels but there’s a reason. The room itself was not bad. There were some minor hygiene issues like hair on the bed and a dirty microwave but my husband and I are truly not picky. Here’s the main issue and the only reason I’m taking the time to write a review. This hotel does not have working AC!! This issue has been mentioned in many reviews since the hotel has been open. The hotel manager has since responded to comments saying that the issue has been fixed. Do not believe it! We are American and may not tolerate the lack of AC as well as most but this was unacceptable, especially since we made sure to book an accommodation that specifically listed AC as an amenity. Our room was 25.6 C when we entered and after several hours, the room would not cool below 25C. We went down to the front desk and they said they’d send someone right up. We waited a while and no one came. The phones in the room don’t work and you can’t call anyone for help, so we went down to the front desk again. There were multiple staff members chatting and no guests that they were currently assisting. They told us again that they’d be right up and once again never showed. We barely slept for the two days we stayed here. It was incredibly warm and stuffy and the balcony door opens right next to highway that is extremely loud. Long story short, there’s a reason for the rapid drop in ratings for this hotel. I messaged the hotel in a chat twice about the issue to find resolution and no one replied. They clearly don’t care about making sure guests enjoy their stay and want to come back. I would highly recommend against staying here if you’d like to actually rest while you’re in Paris!

Le séjour de notre groupe scolaire dans cet hostel fut un désastre ! Nous avons rencontré de nombreux problèmes dès le début de notre séjour, notamment le service de réservation toujours en ”congés” qui répondait avec des délais jamais vu pour un service groupe, et de plus désagréable et non professionnel au possible. Dans l'ensemble, le niveau de service offert par le personnel était très bas, ce qui a rendu le séjour très désagréable. Le pire a été le service après-vente, où nous avons soumis une demande de geste commercial pour compenser les problèmes que nous avons rencontrés : - Douche qui fuyait dans une des chambres : l'auberge a répondu que les élèves l'avait ”cassée” ; c'était la CPE qui logeait dans cette chambre... aucun élève n'y était jamais entré... et on lui a donné une serviette pour éponger au lieu de la changer de chambre ! - Une autre chambre qui ne fermait pas : ils nous ont dit que c'était les élèves qui l'avaient cassés (encore c'est pratique!) alors qu'au check in, ils nous avaient prévenu ne fermait pas. - Il a fallu insister pendant 24h pour qu'il y ait quelque chose de fait, entre temps les occupantes, des filles mineures, ont dormi sans aucune sécurité au sein de l'établissement et le lendemain ont du laissé leurs affaires dans une chambre qui ne fermaient pas. - le petit déjeuner : un croissant réchauffé + une boisson chaude au choix entre du café, du chocolat et... de l'eau chaude, pas un sachet de thé ou autre ! C'est connu, les gens raffolent d'eau chaude le matin. Demande de remboursement d'un enfant malade qui n'avait pas pu venir, on nous a dit que le stock (d'eau chaude et de croissants congelés??) avait été prévu en avance et ne pouvait pas être remboursé. Malheureusement, après avoir essayé par tout les moyens d'avoir un retour qui ne soient pas des allégations mensongères pour justifier leur service médiocre, ce fût peine perdue nous n'avons plus jamais eu de retour du responsable de cet établissement ce qui n'est absolument pas professionnel au delà d'être juste correct. Nous avons même dû redemander plusieurs fois pour avoir la facture finale (et correcte !). Nous avons même essayé de contacter le service après vente du groupe LOUVRE HOTELS mais nous n'avons jamais eu de retour a nos nombreuses demandes : Nous avons bien reçu votre demande, d'ailleurs voici sa référence : **********7. Most amenities in this hotel show commitment to better our planet. There are no more plastic water bottles in the hotel, rather cold still water and sparkling water on tap in the lobby, where you can refill your container or grab a glass, for free. Access to floors and rooms is with bamboo-made magnetic cards 💳, very stylish. There are also 4 automatic coffee machines ☕️ where one can help oneself to cappuccinos, mochas, single and double espressos, americanos, etc. Free breakfast included croissants 🥐 , chocolate croissants, cold meats, yogurt, fruits 🍎 , cheeses 🧀, cereal 🥣, eggs 🥚 you can boil at your own taste and more. From 6:30am to 8:00am is the best time to get it, after that, it gets busier until 10:00 am when it’s removed. ROOM AMENITIES There were eight European type-C 200V outlets across the room and 2 USB outlets by one side of the main bed. When we arrived, the sofa beds 🛋 were already converted to beds and made; we thought of this as a very nice and smart gesture, considering that many hotels we’ve stayed at have sofa-beds with missing linens and we have to do the work. The bathroom is a minimalist expression of a bathroom: Curtains or sliding door is missing from the shower so after showering 🚿 you’ll notice a bit of water that needs to be wiped off, just for your own safety. Toilet, shower and sink are all in the bathroom and there was no lock in the room we got. Blame the jet-lag or not, the IKEA-type simple beds 🛏 were very comfy! It just would have been nice to have light sheets during one warm night, instead of just the thick covers. There was no safe in the room and only one safe for the whole hotel, operated by the manager. Apparently they haven’t had an incident “ever” and we didn’t experience anything either, leaving valuables such as passports, electronics, home keys 🔑, etc. AROUND THE HOTEL Excellent location: 🚶🏻 Walking distance from about 20 different restaurants as well as the Port D’Italie Metro 🚇 and Bus 🚌 station, where you can easily and inexpensively find transport.Oh, and very close to Paris’ interior circuit Boulevard Périphérique Intérieur, in case of driving around. Considering the €125 nightly rate for a room that can host 6 people that can be fed breakfast everyday, I’d say it’s a great deal. #ruizmedina⭐️

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our stay in Paris. It has the usual features of an Ibis hotel with a full set of washroom in one room (unlike the Ibis budget ones) and it is located around a 10 minute walk to the Line 4 subway. It is pretty much far from the main attractions in Paris, but it is easily reachable via the subway regardless. The breakfast buffet was just cold breakfast. I did not see hot meals served. The breakfast room is actually separate from the restaurant area so that was interesting.

The room has a double bed and a single bed and is suitable for children. French breakfast is basically the same: bread coffee milk juice eggs,...

I have been there a few times now to work and this may become my staple place! I went to the cafe to meet someone for work and feel like I tripped into this gem. It’s clean, relaxed, warm, with great food, coffee, tea available… one of my favorite added touches is the infused water they offer. A special kudos to Samia who was so kind and attentive. While I’m in Paris this will be my work space for sure!
