Find the Cheap Gujan-Mestras Hotels

Having stayed here for a few days I can only describe the hotel as average at best. To describe the positives first: friendly staff, codes for the doors meaning no concern over lost key cards, and free parking. For the rest…. We had a plus room but there was nothing plus about them except the Nespresso machine, which we were given 3 capsules for 3 nights stay between two of us, and of course the fact we were given an extra towel and a hairdryer. Size wise the room was smaller than I’d expect for something described as a plus room but had all the amenities needed including somewhere to hang clothes and a shower. The air conditioning advertised came on for 1 minute every 30 minutes and while there was a thermostat in the room, the unit could not be controlled by us to get it to blow out constantly or cold enough leading us to be too hot for the whole stay, even in April, this lead to poor quality of sleep. With the window open you can dulcetly be put to sleep by the constant noise from the motorway though. The bed is the typical European very firm but on the positive the double bed was actually a double and not too singles pushed together. Breakfast was 10.95€ per person per day which for continental breakfast seemed steep however there are plenty of cafes and bakeries within a short drive which serve good coffee and food choices for breakfast for cheaper. It was our first experience of hotel b&b brand and in all honesty it will be our last. While the option was the cheapest in the area, there was a good reason for that. Personally had we been aware of the standard of the hotel more before booking I’d have paid more for a more comfortable accommodation with controllable air con and a softer bed.

Wij zijn nu 3x in het hotel geweest om te overnachten na een ziekenhuis opname. Vriendelijke mensen aan de receptie en goede studiokamers voorzien van magnetron en een kleine kookgelegenheid. Ook het serviesgoed voor 2 personen ontbreekt niet. De bedden zijn prima evenals de badkamer met bad.

Bonne situation géographique et grand parking Bien que près de l'autoroute, pièce bien insonorisée pour une bonne nuit Grand choix pour le petit déjeuner salé sucré Bien apprécié qu'il y ait un veilleur de nuit. Personnel très accueillant et à l'écoute

The hotel is very well located, the apartment was really good. The concept is interesting and especially very practical, we could make ourselves eat and there was even a washing vase! The hotel was very comfortable and we had a great night.

Lovely reception staff. Good location with great supermarket next door and few restaurants very close. New-ish hotel but only one lift? Rooms really well appointed but shower very badly designed and whole floor gets very wet. No spare pillows in room, which were provided on request. Breakfast was a bit poor - at 9am a lot had run out and there’s little choice to start with, and re-stocking was non existent. Only one coffee machine working. One lady working who needs some hygiene training as using the same dry cloth to wipe tables, seats and her hands is unacceptable. But we would stay again.

Excellent experience Hotel recently refurbished Well placed, several restaurants around very welcome staff with special mention to the manager really very sympathetic nice staff attention to offering us a larger room Because we were 3. Yes I would agree, one of the best IBIS hotels we’ve stayed in, clean, quiet, great shower, comfy bed, such friendly staff, we loved the quirky fun decor and the cat breakfast had plenty of choice, the pool is a bonus. We used their 2 electric bikes (first time on one) so easy getting to the dunes on it and up along the coast, stopping at bars and beaches along the way, we didn’t want to give them back thanks to all the staff for making us feel welcome in this beautiful part of France
