Supervriendelijke ontvangst!
Originally I booked here for five nights but ended up staying for seven nights. The property is in Labege a suburb about 12 kilometres from the centre of Toulouse and there isn’t really anything much within walking distance so a car is a must if staying here. The room 005 is really nice and fresh with a double bed which is two singles together, little side tables, an easy chair which I ended up using at the desk as the stool at the desk wasn’t that comfortable. There is a big LCD TV above the desk but no English stations but there is a power point at desk level which is always a plus. There are USB ports beside the bed and there is enough closet space though no drawers only shelves and no safe. The kitchenette is behind doors that open and then slide back at counter level and there is a small sink, two hotplates and a little bench space. There is a fridge with a freezer compartment, microwave and the usual utensils, plates, pots and pans. The entry can be closed off from the rest of the room which the bathroom is off. There is a wall hung toilet with a shelf above it and a decent vanity with a shelf as well and the bath has a little soap holder that can be used as a shelf for one or two things. The room was clean and had really good air-conditioning which was needed due to the heatwave that was happening in France in August 2022. There was ample parking and a self-service laundry and the staff were very helpful. The hotel serves breakfast for an additional fee but I didn’t use it and there is a restaurant in the building as well. I really enjoyed my stay here and recommend it if you need a place to stay in the area.

I stayed in this hotel for 1N whilst travelling in Southern France, The price is reasonable, however it is commensurate with what you receive. The room I had was small, and quite dim even with all three of the lights in the room on. Additionally, I was placed next to the outside stairwell which meant throughout my stay I could hear the thud and echo of people using the stairwell, talking on it etc. I was worried this might prevent me sleeping, but actually it didn't - there was no issue. However, as I say the price was reasonable, so I would recommend using this place if you need a stop over.
We arrived late, tired, after terrible journey because of bad weather. Large carpark within the hotel compound. The young couple welcomed us, and we felt better immediately. Because we were travelling with 4 dogs we chose 2 double rooms. The hotel was a new innervation, having been open around a week. It was absolutely spotless. Still that faint odour of new paint, but not offensive. Our rooms were spotless. Comfortable beds with warm duvets, and comfortable pillows. The rooms had functioning heating/air con. All floors were lift serviced, but the stairs were marked 'accept the challenge'. Breakfast was inviting. A charming young hostess offered us choice of fruit salad, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants (to die for!!!), cheese, ham, bread. The coffee machine offered a wide range of types. The weather had improved and we ate outside with our dogs. The young lady could not do enough for us. Filling your travel mug for the onward journey was encouraged. The big disappointment was I could find absolutely nothing wrong with our stay. Perfection. By far the best Ibis we have stated in.
This is a hotel in France, not in the city center, the surrounding facilities are OK, there are many restaurants, the rooms are generally, not very big, European hotels are like this, you can also

Yes, I had a good idea what to expect when I booked, so I can't say I was surprised at what was offered, but I was still left feeling disappointed. Let's start with the positives. The hotel staff were friendly, although not particularly enthousiastic, and my room was clean, as was the shower and the bedding. Unfortunately, that's about it. Things almost started badly in finding the hotel, as it is cunningly concealed behind trees, and if coming from the peripherique, there is no signage. The decor throughout is awful, and I didn't like walking past piled up bags of (presumably) dirty linen in the hallway. The room itself was very small, with an ensuite shower/WC, and there was little or no room to move around the bed (the only furniture in the room). There is no wardrobe space so, as I was staying to two nights, I had to put my clothing on the bed - not ideal. The shower was OK, but there is no room to dry oneself (assuming you've remembered to bring a towel). I had to sleep with the GF window open as the AC unit was too noisy, so was frequently woken by noisy guests outside. The bed was not comfortable. Breakfast was very basic and, if you want coffee, be prepared to get up to ask the staff member to use their pass each time you want a cup. Finally, I didn't think my hotel room was cheap and at the end of the day, not value for money. Sorry, F1, but I won't be coming back.
