The Old Oil House is located right in the heart of Boscastle, with its picturesque harbour, village shops, pubs and tea rooms steps away from your front door. The spacious apartment occupies the ground floor of this 150 year old building and retains the original beams while having a modern feel. There is also an allocated parking space - gold dust in the summer months! Dog friendly too!There are no steps in the property and everything is on one level, on the ground floor. The oil house will be underwent a full refurbishment in April 2023, with a new kitchen, new bathroom, and redecoration throughout.We have two bedrooms: king size and twin. Both with new beds, and built in wardrobes. There is a large open plan living area, with a fully stocked kitchen, eating area and sofas with a large smart TV. The kitchen has herbs and spices, tea, coffee, olive oil, washing machine, dishwasher and a large American Fridge Freezer.The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Our feedback from regular guests who were less mobile was that having a large walk in shower made their stay relaxing - so we made sure to put one in during the refurbishment.We have a brilliant location. Firstly, a parking space 2 metres from the front door. Then, pubs, brilliant restaurants and cafes, a local shop, and the coast path - within 100m walk of the front door. The harbour is only a minute or two walk away.Across different platforms, we have one of the highest average 5* reviews in North Cornwall. And we focus on providing the best value accommodation possible.The space is all for guests, and guests only.
