"Safe car park on arrival, just tap in your car registration at the reception on arrival and pay for your parking. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Free wifi.
Beautiful room. Clean and tidy with coffee and tea making facilities. Lovely complimentary shower and hand wash and shampoo. Comfy bed. Quiet hotel in quiet setting a little away from the main road. Idea location not far from Gatwick airport. Will definitely be back. Thanks again for a great stay."
"If you’re looking for a budget friendly place near Gatwick airport, it’s a great place. They have all the basic amenities and friendly staff. It’s quite deep in the heart of a residential area so it’s advisable only if you drive."
"Close to the airport, receptionists were helpful, clean beds and nice interior design. Nice place to catch the early flight or rest after a late flight.
It's on a shuttle bus service route but the bus costs you 5 pounds per person."
"Nice location and the hotel had a spa out the back that cost only £4 for use of Sauna, Steam room, Jacuzzi, and 10m Swimming Pool. Towels were only an extra £1 to hire whilst there so a very reasonable £5 for an afternoon of relaxation.
The hotel itself was pleasant whilst a little dated but this meant large rooms with plenty of space without bumping in to each other when moving around. The shower was in the bath which was reasonable with warm but NOT hot water. The tap on the sink could only be described as explosive when it was turned on and sprayed forward and onto anyone standing in front of the sink unless you did it very gently and only turned on about a 10th of it's full capacity. "
"My flight was delayed by two hours, and to my shock, the hotel had given away my pre-paid room! While the front desk staff were very active in contacting other hotels and even offered to send us elsewhere, they eventually found a standard room in their own hotel to settle us. You can just imagine arriving at the hotel late at night, only to be held up and waiting for what felt like forever."
"The hotel is next to the midway highway to Brighton, and we reduced the trip to Seven Sisters Cliff half the time so we could reach the attractions earlier.
The customer service is warm and thoughtful, the parking is convenient, and it is a good place to live!"
"The hotel looks very 1970s from the outside however the Inside is modern, very clean and excellent staff. Breakfast was well presented and plentiful.
The room was very comfortable and as we booked a premier king size had ample space. The coffee machine was a nice touch.
Well recommended."
"Amazing stay , always such a positive vibe on arrival and on our extended days .
reception has been superb as well as the breakfast stay in the morning .
Which reminds me to also comment the mouth watering Full English which hit the spot !
Would recommend for family’s and couples , also travellers as it’s great for quick access to town and having the opportunity to enjoy a nice walk around the countryside"
"We had a lovely overnight stay at the Sandman. It was wonderfully clean and quiet. The desk service was very good and they were helpful, noting we would be checking out before breakfast service and offering us a picnic breakfast to take with us. The only downside of this hotel was its isolation which meant you needed to use the restaurant on site. The servers were polite and attentive but the kitchen was incredibly slow, which was very disappointing.
We also tried the pool and gym which were clean and basic."
