The location of the hotel is quite good. It is only a 2-minute walk from the train station. Tesco is opposite the hotel, and it is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the beach. It is also only a 5-10 minute walk from 2 pedestrian streets, which is very convenient. ;
The hotel facilities are very new, the rooms are large, and the waiters are very nice;
We were two adults and one child, and the waiter helped us arrange an extra bed. It was very fast and efficient, and they used brand new mattresses. Both the large and small mattresses were very comfortable;
The bathroom is super big. I have been to the UK so many times and many places in the UK. It is the largest bathroom I have ever seen, a full 10 square meters;
The room is an apartment type, you can cook by yourself, the kitchen facilities are also very complete and very clean👍
Very clean, quiet, and well kept. Good location to visit the town. Only downside was the absolutely tiny shower, but it didn’t have an impact on our stay. Would definitely stay here again if I could guarantee a ground floor room. The building is very tall with a few floors. Luckily we were allocated a downstairs room, but after seeing the stairwell, we counted ourselves lucky. Overall though, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very comfy bed, and lovely room layout.
When we arrived we was asked to pay for the room in ful. We told the lady we had credit card but she said she wanted the £171 in cash and directed us to the nearest bank. I wasnt at all happy with this as the website says they accept credit/debit cards. This then ate into our spending allowance. I wasnt offerd a reciept & she had 2 days to oblige but this didnt come my way. In the room the very large window has no blind just curtains and is overlooked by other propertys but more so next doors court yard which often had a guy smoking out there. This meant we couldnt get undressed with out closing the curtains. This made the room dark & stuffy as it was very hot on the two days we was there. Our room carpet lead up to the ensuite floor tiles which had quite a big step which wasnt noticable & i stubbed my toe. I was in a great deal of pain. This needs addressing Asap before some one breaks there toes. To stop us doing this again or forgetting in the middle of the night we had to pad it with cushions. The check out was self service and you leave your key in the bedroom door. This i find very impersonable, there is no customer service hear & they are recieving alot of money for not alot in return. This is a shame as the room was very clean & the bed very comfortable. Based on our experience hear we wont return we will find some where with better service
Very Good

Hospitality at its very best. The rooms are a delight, beautiful furnishings, comfy beds etc. has everything you need, fridge, tea, coffee, fresh milk etc. Breakfast was amazing, try the fresh fruit & granola for starters, there is so much choice for the next course, all individually freshly cooked for you, beautifully presented as well. Special thanks to Danielle who looks after everything in the Hotel, nothing is too much trouble, you can tell she really wants you to enjoy your stay - she is a delight what a lovely person, also a mention of George the owner of Moore House & Porters next door - such a great man, once again nothing too much trouble, friendly, chatty we were made so welcome we felt like one of the family - what a great experience, we will definitely be back and recommend this little gem right in the heart of the old town to anyone.
Visiting from. Australia. I booked this last minute so only one double room was available. If I had booked earlier, I could have chose a single room with seaview. The room was clean and well stocked. With ensuite, fridge, TV etc.This accommodation is right on seafront so you would expect a little bit of noise, but once windows are closed then it's sound proof. The breakfast is extra 9 pound but definitely worth it. It kept me going all day. Francesca was lovely and very helpful. It is only a 10 minute walk along foreshore to Old Hastings Town, the Castle, Smugglers Adventures and Aquarium. A 5 minute walk to main shopping area. Would highly recommend this place for anyone travelling to Hastings.
Enormous rooms, delicious food at both dinner and breakfast, very reasonable bar prices and luxury all round (even without time to use the spa facilities!) but unfortunately, very much a case of ”you pay for what you get” - so if you can find a good offer for a mini-break here, go for it!
The reviews we read before our visit meant we were keeping an open mind. Good customer service before arrival put us in the right mood as this was the start of a celebration trip. The car park at St Benedict is very small but there was plenty of street parking and it looked like a safe area, which it proved to be. The Victorian feel starts from the moment you ring the door bell and a warm welcome from Alexandr. We were checked in quickly and shown to Mr Parry's room, the only en-suite room here. We were then offered, and accepted, tea and cake in the garden. This was a quality experience that immediately had us relaxed. The house is crammed full of Victorian artefacts and they are fascinating. Much of it is religious in content and reflects the Orthadox faith followed by the hosts. Religion is not forced upon you but they do offer good tips, we were told that Ramsgate at the end of our trip had an excellent church to visit and they were right. It was nice to have time away from the TV and it was really nice having the radio on at breakfast. Breakfast is ordered the previous evening and time you want it stated. It is of very good quality and plentiful. All in all, a great place to stay, with excellent hosts and plenty to look at around the house. The main town is not too far away but the area is very hilly. Many thanks to Paul and Alexandr for making the start of our trip so special and memorable for all the right reasons.
