"Positives,
- You can order breakfast as room service using a card and hanging it on the door. What we did order was good so I would say the breakfast buffet is good.
- check in was quick and easy.
- apart from the coffee being in a teabag the other complimentary items were good which included biscuits and hot chocolate.
- it's always a bonus to have a fridge in the room.
- The room was nice spacious and clean. Easy to get ready in (lighting, mirrors, plugs ect)
A few things sadly that I disliked about this hotel.
- Parking, when I was booking the hotel it showed that there was free on site parking. I did query this with the receptionist who wasn't very helpful with her answer and just said it's full. Then suggested one of the hotels nearby that charge per hour.
- our shower kept changing temperature which I did struggle with trying to wash my hair.
- Our room was an adjoining room which I would prefer not to have had, I understand this may be the last room available but I feel it should be mentioned upon checkin.
- The bathroom was more of a constant wet room as there was nothing to dry the floor with after using a shower. A squidgy would be a great addition to the accessible rooms.
- The room service line was constantly engaged.
- you can screen mirror to their TVs.
- last thing for those that care about their health and wellbeing, the sheets are made from 100% polyester so high exposure to micro plastics while you sleep."
"We arrived to check in quite late in the evening but were met with a very warm and efficient welcome. Friendly staff, great rooms with comfortable beds and fresh decor throughout the whole building.
Delicious well cooked and presented breakfast with freshly prepared hot food, many cereal and fruit options, fresh coffee, tea and juices.
Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
"My stay at the Marriott Leicester was genuinely enjoyable and exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially liked the calm atmosphere—it felt like a proper break. The location was also ideal, close to Fosse Park and the motorway, but still peaceful. Overall, the Marriott Leicester felt like a perfect mix of comfort and class."
"I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service from the staff. The check-in process was seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a spacious and beautifully decorated room.
The room itself was spotless, modern, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly soft, and I slept like a baby every night. The bathroom was luxurious, with high-quality toiletries and a rainfall shower that was pure bliss.
The hotel facilities were equally impressive. I enjoyed the stunning rooftop pool, which offered breathtaking views of the city, and the fitness center was well-equipped and spotless. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals – I highly recommend the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of fresh, tasty options.
What truly set this hotel apart was the level of service. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were always available to offer recommendations for local attractions, arrange transportation, or fulfill any special requests.
The location was ideal as well – conveniently situated near top attractions, shopping, and public transportation.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this is the perfect place to stay. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to the area. Five stars all the way!"
"I’d stay there again because the bed was larger and more comfortable than the hotel I usually stay at on my annual trip to see family. Room was clean. The downsides: We arrived at around 11:30 and they wouldn’t check us in until after 12, I get that this is policy but other hotels in the city are flexible and we’d been travelling 20 hours. Also the air con in the room didn’t work and it was very hot for the UK so had a bit of trouble sleeping. They said they’d take a look and gave us a fan because I guess they couldn’t do anything but it didn’t quite cut it…"
"The location is fantastic! 10 minute walking distance to the theatres and shopping areas.
The facade is clean and appealing and on entering the building, the bar/restaurant area really provides a wow factor.
I had a double room which were two single beds pushed together, so there was no room to stretch out.
The kitchenette doesn't come with washing up liquid or a sponge, so I was a little confused as to how I was supposed to clean up.
The toilet was lovely, but having lifted the toilet seat, the toilet bowl was filled with yellow liquid. Easily solved with flushing.
The shower was glorious I didn't want to get out.
The rooms are not sound proofed so if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure you take your ear plugs.
On the whole I paid £80 for the room on Trip, other sites were charging £140 so I do think I got a good deal. I paid for what I got."
"Premier Inn City Centre is just next to the train station and it’s very convenient. Decent room size and the couch is good where you could seat on and enjoy the view of the Leicester City Centre. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Hot and continental breakfast options just pay when you walkin. I will definitely return to Premier Inn for my next trip to Leicester. Highly recommend this hotel to friends. "
"Trip.com generated two bookings at once and had to pay double for one room without ever getting my money back. Shame on you Trip.com saying it’s my fault and basically lying and keeping my money"

Very Good
SSylJThe location is perfect and the room was clean. The amenities are the best. They had complementary water bottles (which seems like a luxury in many hotels these days), ear plugs, a small fridge and coffee pods. Well thought out and the bed was nice to sleep.
TthomasThe checking in and out process was simple with no problems. There are ongoing renovations and improvements. The restaurant was closed however delivery options and nearby eateries and COOP mini market close by. Easy access to city center by bus or a 30 minute walk along the main road through the Victoria park near the University campus. It has a convenient location with an affordable price with free parking available.
