Find the Cheap Ixia Hotels

Stayed for 6 nights all inclusive with Jet2 at the end of August. Lots of pros- The hotel is spotless clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly. It seems like an incredibly small team and they all made us feel welcome. The pool area was gorgeous, there’s a really nice breeze coming off the sea which takes the edge off the heat. Never an issue getting a sunbed (we’re not the type to go down early and put towels out at all! Whether we arrived at 11am or 4pm there were still beds). We had a late flight in (arriving 2am approx after delays) so food had obviously closed for the night but they’d left plates of food and bottles of water in our room which was a very appreciated touch. Overall, couldn’t fault the food for dinner or breakfast, lots of choice and we always had full plates. I found the snack bar a bit of a disappointment as this seemed to be what was left over from the night before which was just left out buffet style to help yourself (wasn’t a huge fan of left over stew in the blazing sun). Greek salad was amazing! Cons- Hotel is on the side of a busy road which is hard to cross and drivers seemingly ignore the zebra crossing a short way up from the hotel. The bar/ entertainment area is next to that busy road which just felt a bit strange. The entertainment is incredibly low budget but Willie does what he can. It’s very much audience led/ audience participation style entertainment which can get a bit tiresome after a few days. Few tips- public transport is easy but be prepared to wait a while for a bus as they are busy and often full! We waited an hour for one. For a sandy beach, get the bus to Faliraki. Rhodes acropolis is worth a visit, as is the old town. Not worth booking a hotel excursion though, just get the bus or walk it. Lindos is beautiful but try and get there early as it’s hot and busy! Also, you will need 50c for the toilets there.

This has got to be the best holiday me and my boyfriend has been on. We was in one of the older rooms, yes it was dated and could have done with a freshen up but it was clean and had everything we needed a very good size too. The food was good a little repetitive but we always found something to eat me and my boyfriend are fussy and with the option of the Greek and Italian there was lots of options for food. Drinks lots of options too the cocktail list went down a treat all bar staff and waiters/ waitresses are really polite and friendly. Big mention to Mike and the avra boys on the karaoke 😂 Now the best till last the animation team was fantastic. Can’t fault them one bit they were all really friendly and made our holiday. We took part in some activities and really enjoyed them. The club dance is now stuck in my head and still doing it now at home. It’s not the same as doing it in the sun 😂 Pavel the life guard is also really friendly talked to us every day. We will definitely be back next year to see you all. Thanks Jennie and Harry

Our stay at Villa Di Mare was an unforgettable experience, truly the highlight of our visits to Rhodes. The service at Villa Di Mare is exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Zoe, the supervisor, made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Her professionalism and warmth set the tone for our entire visit. Nothing was too much trouble, and she always greeted us with a smile, making us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. A special mention must go to Ntina, the award-winning bartender. Her cocktails are nothing short of world-class. Each drink is a masterpiece, crafted with precision and creativity. It’s clear why she has earned accolades – her passion for mixology shines through in every sip. The cocktails were not just beverages but experiences in themselves, adding a touch of magic to our evenings. The overall atmosphere at Villa Di Mare is sophisticated yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for both lively gatherings and quiet, intimate moments. The combination of beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, and outstanding cocktails made our stay truly special. Villa Di Mare is a must-visit for anyone seeking luxury and top-notch service in Rhodes. We can’t recommend it highly enough and are already planning our next visit. I have stayed now a total of 3 times at Blue Roses Apartment. Theo is a credit and made me feel welcome, the location is very close to Rhodes Old Town and only a bus or taxi ride away. Being close to the Airport it is a perfect location for all your Rhodes needs. Sigma excursions is only a stones throw to which you have multiple options to do different types of trips to suit your needs. Napoli restaurant is absolutely amazing and the food is and always will be the best for me. Blue Roses Apartment is very clean and I have never had an issue with any of my 3 stays. Bathroom is spotless and towels are refreshed as well as bed sheets on a daily basis. I would highly recommend Blue Roses to anyone and everyone.

The room was perfectly renovated with a perfect view but its temperature with the air conditioning at the maximum was between 27 & 29 degrees The mini bar had no cooling When I complained they told me it was not a refrigerator ironically in the reception and after it found it Technical not corrected until we left The room was as a supply to the coffee shop but we were paid at the end of the coffee in a 5-star hotel with a price-high price at night The elevator had no air conditioning and was a gas chamber up to the 17th floor which we stayed The supermarket of the hotel cost me an extra 10 minutes the cigarette package I bought because it does not give me a card as he told me and showed me a handwritten note General culture of the decade 70-80s which in no way justifies the Category 1

Just returned from Olympic palace, our first holiday with our 7 month old baby Stayed in a sea view room on the 5th floor with a large balcony Two sun loungers and a table with chairs looking out onto the most stunning view Was well worth the extra £100 for the upgrade from mountain to sea view Lots of amazing staff but the biggest shout out for us has to go to Sam at the pool bar, she couldn’t do anymore to be helpful she was funny and for us she made our experience by taking such a liking to our little girl. She’d take her behind the bar and dancing with her and give her cuddles she was just the most loveliest lady and a credit to this hotel! The staff in the piano bar were also so lovely especially the girl who worked during the day! The reception staff were also very friendly but when we had a couple of issues they didn’t resolve them but this didn’t ruin our time and didn’t change the overall experience we had at the resort. Entertainment on the roof top bar every evening was a lovely touch and music in the piano bar was lovely to! Watching the sunset from the roof top bar was our favourite past time honestly the views from this hotel are unreal! The hotels approx a 30 mins transfer from the airport to which was ideal! Rooms all very clean and plenty of immunities to provide you with an all round pleasant home from home stay! The Al a Cate restaurants were a lovely touch to the Mexico was lovely, as was the Italian and the Greek corner which you could have everyday for lunch which was gyros served to you We are not a fan of all you can eat buffet food so didn’t eat every day at the hotel but what we did eat in the main restaurant was very nice and again the staff in there were so friendly and accommodating The pool snack bar was very average and the food wasn’t very warm or tasty so we just avoided there as much as we could. Lovely size swimming pools, pool tables, tennis courts, crazy golf, escape rooms and a games room on offer at the hotel. As we were traveling with a baby it didn’t matter to us but as our little one gets older we probably wouldn’t return to the hotel just because other family’s were saying the only kids entertainment is a 30 min disco in the sports court of a evening so I think I would want more for my daughter going forward. But over all I couldn’t fault the location of this hotel the staff and immunities and I was truly gutted to leave it behind and come back to the uk last night. Just wanted to say that Sam is a credit to this hotel and she should be told how many wonderful reviews there are on trip advisor which mention her name she deserves 5 starts by herself! Just because the food didn’t blow me away and the slight issues within our room which didn’t get sorted I would have to say the hotels more 4.5 star than 5 but for everything else hands down the best resort I’ve stayed in abroad! We hope to return in the future and will be recommending others to the hotel who fancy a trip to Rhodes!
