"First impression of the hotel - IG fanatics would love this hotel because of the decoration. It's decorated with various styles of chairs everywhere, fun and colorful, creating a happy atmosphere.
Love the stay here though it's just a one night stay before the flight to Bali. Check-in and check-out very smooth. Very friendly and efficient front desk staffs. Since I arrived before noon, hotel gave me an early check-in, also quickly react to a little problem in my room. They can help you to order Grab car in case you don't have the app.
Hotel is not that far from the Kupang airport. Lots of good restaurants, convenient stores and beach within walking distance. It's definitely worth to pay a little bit more for a seaview room - the seaview and sunset is stunning!!! Even the elevator is made with glass so you can enjoy the seaview while going up and down.
Breakfast is buffet and mainly Indonesian style, taste is fine. Shower water pressure is good. The only flaw I can find is restaurant service was pretty slow and not that attentive. I was the only guest at the restaurant during dinner, maybe they were busy with the takeaway/ room service, so been waiting for a long time for food. Luckily, taste of the chicken was delicious.
It's a shame the hotel doesn't have swimming pool so you can only go to the beach right in front of the hotel. Anyway, I will surely book Swiss Belcourt Kupang again and highly recommend to all travellers visiting Kupang."
"My family and I had a vacation in Kupang and we were very happy to stay at a star hotel in Kupang City. The service was very satisfying, especially the food was very delicious. The hotel is complete with a swimming pool facility that is safe for my children. The Kristal Kupang hotel is really cool."
"The room itself is good and spacious, got my room facing a stunning sunset. While the housekeeping service is very prompt, but cleanliness needs some improvement. The gym (fitness centre) is awesome.
The swimming pool can get real busy especially after mid morning. Breakfast at Lobby area, was ok, although it's a spread, but it's typical hotel foods. Mainly serve Indonesian foods, with rice almost at every corner. Some day the rice is awfully dry, someday it's just so wet and clumpy
During peak hours can get really chaotic with short-staffed to clear the table, more often they will just clear the previous guest's dirty dishes without cleaning the table and place mat leaving the crumb behind, it's rather unpleasant for the next guest to take the seat."
"The hotel has a free pick-up and drop-off machine, next to a large mall, convenient for shopping and eating. Recommended to stay, the hotel has a small garden, the pool is not small, take a taxi to the beach for about 10 yuan."
"Good location, many vendors of food and Alfamart near the hotel, suitable for business and family trips, spacious room space, small refrigerator, hair dryer, swimming pool, there is a room type with balcony access with a view of people swimming 😂😂"
"It is a very home place with oversized rooms. Some people in the reviews are complaining that it is dirty. A few things are a bit worn but the rooms and facilities are clearn. The bedding was comfy and clean. The hot water was hot. The pool is refreshing and was also clean. People also complain about the breakfast. There is every day just one option, I thought it was quite delicious. The staff is also very friendly. They might be a little less over the top service oriented as on Java but if you ask for anything they are more than happy to help. The WIF also works well. I would say very pleasant hotel will for sure go there again!"
"After 3 times at Sotis I have to say that:
- the rooms. The bathroom and the breakfast more than good
- cknr phre good service from the Staff
Unfortunately the pool has no staff who can intervene in the assault of noisy guests and who use this space as a playground. The result is that the pool becomes unusable.
Furthermore, the beach in front of the hotel is used by locals to have picnics cooking and flooding the entire outside area with smoke, smells and a lot of noise.... I'm sorry but I think that next time in Kupang I will look for another solution."
