Find the Cheap Ngadisari Hotels

Not bad, very good

A good hotel near the Bromo volcano. The houses are small, but everything is there. A good bed and pillows. Tea, coffee, water. View of the mountains. The altitude is about 2500 meters. At night the temperature drops to *12!! It is comfortable to sleep under a blanket. The breakfasts are ordinary. It is good for a stop for 1 or 2 nights to visit volcanoes.

The village of Lawan, where Mount Bromo is located, is quite large, but the hotels in the village are average, most of them have no hot water, and the mountain is relatively cold. The Semarang Indah is relatively good. First of all, the location is good. I saw the volcano, followed by hot water, but the water was very small, and we could barely take a bath. It was much more comfortable to catch a plane and a car for a day. There was a free breakfast the next day, and I saw guests in several rooms Check in. The hotel rooms are quite small. When you stay in the homestay, there is no toiletries, but you can buy them locally, it's only one night, but the Mount Bromo scenery is very beautiful and it is worth going. Hotel Bromo Pernai is a big hotel in this area (village) and every map shows the name in it.(They say Lava View Hotel is the most expensive in this area.) I quite enjoyed staying there. There is an electric kettle in the room so you can have coffee/instant noodles anytime. There are plenty of power sockets, which is helpful. Not enough space for hanging clothes but there is a big shelf. There is a big TV but I didn't watch it. There is wifi but signal could be weak as you could imagine. Most importantly, I didn't expect a hot water shower  :)  Not sure if there is A/C in the room but it was September, I didn't need it. Breakfast is too simple, though. As all tourists join sunrise tours, breakfast time could be extended till 1030 Breakfast is served between 0700 - 1000. I like this hotel. You can admire the view of Bromo just in front of the hotel. It is About 15 minutes walking distance to the sea of sand but you have to remember that hiking up/down isn't so easy as the air is thin. There are lots of eateries nearby and bakso wagons.  When I asked for a sunrise tour, they offered me  Jeep  650 Guide 250 but I think this is the standard in the village.

1. Rooms are worn down and filthy. Neither blankets nor towels not clean. This place benefits from its location but the existing rooms are in dire need of renovations. And then they still would need to be kept clean. 2. Food was not good. Everyone of our group (2 tourists plus 2 Indonesians photographers) were sick here. Table cloth seems to not have been changed in weeks - if the kitchen is as “clean” no wonder we all got sick. 3. No coffee during the whole morning. During breakfast there is a big alu can with “coffee” written on for self-service. Don’t be fooled: that is no coffee; it is essentially slightly warm brown water. There is a real machine standing on the counter - but it cannot apparently not be used prior to 11 o’clock. Seriously, why? 4. Wifi hotspot exists in the parking lot but is totally unreliable.

This hotel has a large room and a relatively remote location. It is only a 10-minute walk from the small village under the Broom volcano, and the mountain road is difficult to walk. The Bom volcano is really cold in the morning and evening. The hotel has no air conditioning and does not need hot water. There is not much hot water. There should be solar-type hot water at night. In fact, you can find hotels not that far away in the village, but the store owners are very friendly. If the price of a B&B near Broma volcano is not high, be mentally prepared for very average conditions, especially in the early morning. You need to walk to the village to get a motorcycle, which is really difficult to walk.

It is near the entrance to the park and from the bus stop, but if the road goes to the mountain, even 1 km can be a test for tired tourists or unprepared physical people if you walk. The towel was not so the showers could not take. There are no shops nearby. The road to the hotel is at the intersection of the main road and directly to the hotel in the dark time of the day well illuminated. The host of the guests, but why did not provide the most basic comfort for tourists (towels at least).

Positive points : - Location - Good breakfast, with a pleasant terrace in the sun after climbing the Bromo. Negative points: - Absolutely no soundproofing in rooms. Our neighbors had a baby who spent the night crying and it was as if he was in our room! - No heating even though the nights are very cool. - Unpleasant smell in the bathroom - Cleanliness to be reviewed... (stains on sheets, bathroom not so good...) - Dinner a bit expensive and not very good for the price either =＞ in conclusion, paying more than 120€ a night is extremely expensive ... besides, the staff - although pleasant all the same - don't ask if we've had a good stay, I imagine they must suspect it. If we'd known, we'd probably have gone to a ”standard” hotel and I don't think it would have been any worse!

Stayed here for one night. Pros: 1) This is one of the closest hotels to the crater rim. It is still one hour drive away, but there are no more options to stay in between. 2) The lobby/restaurant/premises are very clean and spacious. 3) Rooms and bathrooms cleanliness is decent. 4) The place has free WIFI and the connectivity is decent, given the location. 5) The restaurant serves food all day. They made special vegetarian choices for us. They veggie soup was excellent. Their Nasi Goreng was bad. 6) The tariff is cheap. 7) The hotel is up by the hills and is a great place to walk around in the evenings. 8) The staff was polite, helpful and spoke good English. Cons: 1) The food choice is limited. But that is understandable given the location. 2) The bathrooms were small and amenities poor (small wash basins with no place to keep toiletries, for example). 3) The place is very noisy at night. It is the main path for the jeeps up to Bromo and it is impossible to sleep after 2 am.
