"It was a great experience staying at 'satopanth, the auli resort. Resort is well maintained, rooms are very clean, comfortable and with a breathtaking view. "Location of the hotel is good, near joshimath main square. Staff is helpful and courteous. Food is good, simple and light. Rooms are good but not well maintained, furniture and other things are old and rickety. Bathrooms need major upgrade and are the biggest grouse, you will simply hate the bathrooms. All in all it is an average overpriced stay, well almost all stays in joshimath are overpriced anyway, however with some maintenance this property can become much better. As of now recommended only if you have no other better option to go with."

"I discovered this property on make my trip. The hotel was quite pleasant, and the location is excellent; the rooftop view is stunning. The reception staff member was very helpful, but they should pay more attention to their services, as the tv was malfunctioning and there was no hot water available for drinking. Even after informing them twice, they did not fix the tv or provide a jar for drinking hot water."
