We had made a booking without breakfast. As per trip.com offer breakfast rate was Rs 450 per person to be paid at the hotel. But the actual rates were Rs 750 plus tax. So double check the rates with the reception before availing."

"A Wonderful Stay at Gateway Hotel Calicut. Comfortable, Scenic, and Family-Friendly We stayed at Gateway Hotel Calicut for two days as a group of 20 family members, including children, during a family get-together and convocation ceremony. We had booked six rooms on the 5th floor, all offering beautiful views of the sea and pool, which made our stay extra special.
The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, supportive, and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met with warmth and efficiency. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, ideal for a large group like ours.
A highlight of our stay was the complimentary breakfast, which was outstanding—a wide and delicious spread of local and continental dishes that catered to both adults and kids alike.
Overall, we had a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Gateway Hotel Calicut provided the perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and scenic beauty. We highly recommend it for families or groups visiting the city."

"Found out about KPM Tripenta from MakeMyTrip app. I had been to Swapnanagari many years ago. Customer reviews helped in selecting this property. Our stay with Tripenta was truly amazing. GGuest UserI recently stayed at this three-star hotel, and while the rooms and amenities were comfortable, my overall experience was disappointing due to the hotel’s complete lack of awareness about the city’s weak transportation system.
The good:
Well-maintained rooms
Clean beds
Well-stocked mini-fridge
Functional facilities
The bad:
Zero assistance with transportation – As a guest unfamiliar with the city, I expected the hotel to at least have a few cab or auto contacts, especially since public transport is not easily available. However, they were indifferent. I requested a cab to visit a nearby temple at 5:30–6 AM, and their response was a quick, “We’ll check,” only to return with, “Not available.” That was it. No alternative solutions, no effort to help. What if I were a foreigner? Would they have gone above and beyond then?
Stranded at the railway station – Upon arrival, I found no prepaid taxis, no autos, and after waiting for a long time, finally got one. Unfortunately, the driver turned out to be creepy and unprofessional. Since the hotel didn’t provide any transport assistance, I was forced to rely on this driver for my entire trip, leading to multiple unpleasant experiences.
Other guests faced the same issue – I wasn’t the only one. I saw families with children struggling to find a way out of the city, completely stranded. If a hotel is running in a location with limited transport options, it is their responsibility to provide some solution—either tie-ups with a cab service or at least a list of reliable drivers.
Final verdict:
A comfortable stay, but completely unreliable when it comes to guest support. The very reason people book hotels in unfamiliar cities is to have some level of assistance. GGuest UserPark residency, kuttiady my stay at park residency, kuttiady was a mix of positives and negatives. Here are some key points from my experience: # positives: 1. *room quality: the room itself was good, featuring a clean and well-maintained bathroom. The overall ambience of the room was pleasant, which made for a comfortable stay. # negatives: 1. *lack of elevator: one of the major drawbacks of this hotel is the absence of a lift, which could be a significant inconvenience for guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues. 2. *inflexible checkout policy: despite checking in at 6 pm, the hotel was inflexible regarding the checkout time. They did not accommodate my request to extend the checkout time to 2 pm. 3. *limited space for extra bed: while the hotel allowed an extra bed, the space to place it was quite limited, which could be an issue for families or groups needing additional sleeping arrangements. 4. *service delays: towels were not readily available in the bathroom and had to be requested from the reception, indicating a lapse in prompt service. Overall, park residency offers a decent stay in terms of room quality and cleanliness but has several service and facility-related issues that need addressing.

GGuest UserIt's my 03rd visit to the hotel. Hotel can be easily located. Further the breakfast was excellent and service at the restaurant was also superb. However the reception was not upto the mark and the amenities was not provided in the room. No soap and other lavatory items were provided in the room. It seems the washroom was not maintained or provided with sufficient amenities for the next customer on that day of our arrival. Seems lack of professionalism in that case.

GGuest UserFrom the reception department. To the room service. The service was good only negative i have to say is they shouldn't provide food service. But the sweet behaviour from the staffs makes ours comfortable and shown ours the best retaurant near the stay.
