"The location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because it’s a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel. There’s work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again."

"Nice hotel, a couple of minutes walk from the beach. There is a grocery store 2 meters from the hotel entrance, there is also a currency exchange office, a fruit stand, and a pharmacy nearby. It’s only a 1-2 minute walk away 😀 I think it’s an ideal location. I lived in a room without air conditioning, a fan was absolutely enough"

"Perfect location. Close to Panjim city, restaurants and ******s. Hotel is very nice. Great breakfast buffet and nice pool and gym. Staff are very professional but need to mention the great service provided by front office staff who works the night shift. Deevanshu might be his name. "Wow! Wow! Wow! Thats what we can truly say about Doubletree! Nithesh, Syantika & Shivram the 3 of them really made our stay Great and Wonderful! They deserve the recognition for their service. The night we arrived, we were welcomed by Nithesh at the reception. The check in was quick and Nithesh followed us all the way to our room giving us information on the bfast, facilities, f&b and other details that we needed to know! Great Service, Nithesh! At the cafe during bfast, we were served by Shivram. He made sure we did not miss a thing! Shivram, we were looking out for you over the next few days, but maybe you were on another shift. Great Service, Shivram! Last but not least, Syantika! Although you are a newbie, you did not seem like a newbie at all! Your charm and must-do attitude, awesome! Both my wife and me felt, that your truthfulness in attending to a query that we asked you, and getting an almost immediate response, just speaks a thousand words! "The hotel is very clean, the staff are attentive and polite. The gym is very small and has few equipment. Excellent location. However, the daily rate is too high for what the hotel offers. This is probably because it is a tourist area. I asked for a room with a view of the beach and they gave me a room on the first floor where you couldn't see anything."

"I would like to express my gratitude to the staff of the YogiTree Hotel for making my short two-day stay unforgettable and very comfortable. They fulfilled all my wishes with a kind smile on their face. The hotel has an excellent location, the beach, restaurants and shops - everything is literally at the exit of its doors. The room was clean. All appliances (refrigerator, kettle, air conditioner and TV) were working properly. The balcony is comfortable, with a table, two chairs and an ashtray. The hotel serves a delicious breakfast, and on the day of my departure, the chef even came early to feed me before the flight. Thank you so much! I love Morjim! I miss you!"

"3/4 stars, very good, close to the beach. But the beach is like that. There are no fruit stalls, supermarkets, etc. around. Walk for half an hour to those piers, cruise casinos. Take a taxi, ( Negotiation) paid 700 rupees to the Church of Mercy. Burst 300 rupees"

"It’s a new Hotel. Amenities are good. Breakfast was amazing. Room size is good. Parking available. Nice swimming pool. Only one issue is that bathroom stinks a bit in the morning. Other than that everything is good. Staff is supportive."
