Find the Cheap Isafjordur Hotels

Solo female traveler here. I spent 2 nights at the Isafjordur Hotel on my way to Hornstrandir. If you are planning a stop in Isafjordur, this hotel is possibly the best, if not the only choice for location and services. The hotel is a ten-minute walk to the Harbor where I boarded a Borea tour. It is also a ten-minute walk to a very good seafood restaurant with a following. This dinner alone is worth the trip! The location in front of the water is superbly scenic. There is an airport shuttle that stops every morning for the flight back to Reykjavik. For a fairly remote town of about 3000 residents, I felt the accommodations were more than adequate. The building is modern and well-appointed. Anticipating a small room, I booked and paid for a triple. I had 2 very small twin beds side by side so I could sleep in one and put all my stuff on the other bed. Everything seemed pretty clean. The bathroom was also quite small, a bit awkward, and did not have too much in terms of amenities. The breakfast was fine, and the dinner at the Logn restaurant (in the lobby) was OK. Isafjordur is a lovely town where I felt safe and would certainly return to this hotel and recommend it to my friends.
