"Lovely authentic Japanese house in beautiful country side.
The owner is a nice man who speaks good English and takes good care of the house.
In addition to the shared bathroom, kitchen and living room, that there are 3 rooms with futon beds, separated by a thin paper wall. Each room can host 2 to 3 guests.
If rooms are full, you can hear everything as if there was no separation. I could literally hear people whispering.
The owner offered me to use a scooter for free during my 2 days stay, which is awesome.
There are some nice hikes to do in the area. The hike along the river to the Inukai JR station 15km away was amazing (there are closer JR stations).
You'll love this place if you are looking for an authentic experience in a quiet rural setting."
"I stayed with my husband for 5 days while traveling to a small city in Japan, but it was basically an old hotel and cleaned well. The room is still spacious, but the bath is too small, and it seems that the exterior or interior carpet of the building needs renovation. The staff are very friendly."
"I was able to stay conveniently without any inconvenience in terms of environment, facilities, and amenities.
I walked around trying to find a place to eat near the hotel, but I was told that everywhere was fully booked and I couldn't find a place to eat. It must have been difficult at the time. In the end, we drove around looking for a place to eat."
"Get off at Bungo Takeda Station and arrive in less than 5 minutes on foot. It is easy to understand because it is along the same street as the station. The facility is behind the hot spring facility called ”Hanamizuki”, and it is a plus that you can go to the hot spring immediately, but it was a little negative that there was a temple and a grave nearby. The landlady at the front desk kindly responds and the customer service is good. I got a bathing ticket for ”Hanamizuki”, so I could easily go to the hot springs. Body soap and shampoo need to be brought.
I stayed in a single room, but it was a little old, but the depth was wide and there was a sofa so I could relax. The unit bath and toilet are normal.
The rice was out, so it's unknown, but the food at the tavern in the town was very delicious.
I stayed on ordinary Saturdays and Sundays, but there are many guests. I think early reservations are required at the time of the event."
"The hospitality of the inn is great
I booked the day to sleep on the mountain climbing Kyushu expedition
Clean futon. I was able to sleep well with a walnut on cleaned sheets.
The next day I was climbing, so I had a letter on my shoes when I left early in the morning. I was very relieved.
Mr. Sagara, I was impressed!
I wanted to go again when I stopped nearby.
There are hot springs and restaurants.
に No-fed parking lot at night もあります
If you ask the shop, you will tell me comfortably.
I recommend it!"
