"Very good hotel in Japan! Go here - but keep in my mind: You need a car or scooter. You can walk in the citycentre within 15min., but beaches are rare. For that go to Kabira. Hotel offers daily shuttle to Fusaki Beach. Very convenient! Staff is very friendly. Room is equipped with everything you need (bathroom; charging cable; fridge; drinking water directly from the faucet; …) Breakfast has many western options (if you need them). You can chose the cleaning service or not. If not you receive a voucher for the hotel shop and the coffee-store. I really recommend ART HOTEL"

"There is a shuttle bus from Ishigaki Airport to the hotel every hour. It was quite funny when checking in. It was my turn, but the Japanese guy refused to check me in because I had a foreign passport. He had to ask the Southeast Asian guy next to me to come over and tell me to sit next to me for another ten minutes. I had to wait for ten more minutes for no reason. Finally, another young Japanese guy with glasses was more enthusiastic and helped me with the check-in in a mixture of Japanese and English. The room I was given was on the ground floor at the far north side. There was a musty smell as soon as I entered the door, and the air purifier couldn't get rid of it even after two days of use. The indoor swimming pool was full of children on rainy days, so it was impossible to swim. The tour desk could only book boat tickets to Taketomi Island on the same day, and other activities and boat tickets had to be booked one to two days in advance. Breakfast and dinner are all buffet restaurants. You have to queue up in the morning, and you have to make an appointment in advance for dinner. The beach scenery is average when I came here in early April. It's better to go to Taketomi Island and other outlying islands to see the sea when the sun comes out. In general, the price is still high, and the service is not up to par"

"It's very convenient, close to the remote island terminal, bus center, and downtown. The facilities are old, but the rooms were well-cleaned and clean. The bathroom was spacious and there was no inconvenience.
