"Aside from being expensive, there's absolutely nothing else to complain about.
The hotel staff were proactive and enthusiastic. They saw us taking photos by the entrance and offered to help, mentioning they could also speak Chinese as they had studied in China.
There's a free welcome drink, free late-night snacks, and welcome ice cream. Plus, there's a supermarket right on the ground floor of the hotel.
Both breakfast and dinner were incredibly abundant. And there are free massage chairs available for use right by the entrance to the open-air hot spring bath."
"It was a pleasant experience, because I can't drive and took the bus. The hotel is right next to the bus stop, which is very convenient (´▽`). There is a cabinet in the lobby where you can choose the yukata you want to wear, and the patterns are all very beautiful (。ì _ í。) When I checked in, they knew I was a foreigner, so they spoke English to me during meals and conversations. The staff were very friendly, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious (´・ω・`). Every dish was delicious. I really liked the wagyu beef, oysters, bamboo shoots and sashimi for the appetizer. Although the amount didn't look big, it was actually quite filling.
The hot springs were also very comfortable, and I soaked in them many times. My room was right next to the bathhouse, which was very convenient. The room was also very comfortable. A very happy stay experience o(^▽^)o"
"A truly comfortable and delightful hotel!
The food was exquisite and incredibly delicious! I was pleasantly surprised that the wasabi hot pot set menu also came with sashimi, Wagyu beef, and abalone? Or was it soft-shelled turtle? (The lobster in the picture was ordered separately.) Overall, the food was prepared with great care.
The hotel has a traditional Japanese style, and the courtyard is absolutely beautiful. Although our English isn't great, the front desk staff was very patient and meticulous in explaining all the rules to us. During meals, she even introduced each dish and spoke a few words of Chinese – we really loved her!
There was an unexpected and wonderful surprise when we checked out: all the staff came out to bid us farewell and even held up a banner that said, ”Please come again!” It was so touching and made us so happy; the emotional value was completely maximized.
The room we booked included a private onsen, which was available 24 hours a day.
We will definitely be back!!!"
"The service here exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly polite, greeting everyone with a smile and a bow upon entering and leaving. Since I checked in quite early, I had to wait about half an hour for my room, but they proactively offered me complimentary access to the executive lounge for the day as compensation. The facilities are very new, and the breakfast, though leaning Western, was quite rich compared to other hotels in Japan, offering great value for money. The only downside is the somewhat remote location. Although there's a shuttle bus, it only runs once an hour, so if you miss it, you'll need to take a taxi, which costs around 3300 JPY."
"The room is spacious, and the toilet and shower are separated, which is good. The hot spring tax of 150 yen is a mandatory charge, whether you soak or not, you have to pay it when you check in. No mineral water is provided, and boiled water is not provided in the lobby. There are many breakfast varieties, but you can't eat it late, and the varieties you finish will not be replenished, so it's best to eat within half an hour of the start time. The hotel is next to Shuzenji Temple. The surrounding restaurants close at 5 o'clock in the evening. There is an Ambane Hotel nearby that is best not to go to. There is a mandatory consumption of a minimum bottle of drink. No matter what other food you order, you must order a bottle of drink for at least 220 yen, and the food is not cost-effective and the taste is also average. The popular sashimi sushi restaurant must be booked at least one day in advance, otherwise it will not be available. There is a convenience store around the hotel where you can buy food."
"The place is amazing, own onsen in your room, and there is an amazing view of Fuji. The only problem is that there any restaurants for this hotel that doesn’t require a reservation prior to your check in, so if you need any food, you need to go to the hotel next-door. Other than that is a very good experience, very spacious room for your family or your friend, and it’s a great chance for you to get near nearer
to the nature."
"The location is a bit remote, the environment is OK, and the room has a smell. This type of B&B hotel is not as well managed as a brand hotel. The sanitary conditions are not up to standard. The hot spring inside is OK,"

"This is a high-end resort hotel that combines traditional Japanese style with modern services. The hotel covers a large area and has villas and Japanese-style rooms. The area is very large and all built along the river. It used to be a high-end place for celebrities in Tokyo, Japan to vacation, gather and relax. There are many buildings and old objects from decades ago. Both the indoor hot springs and public hot springs are good. The outdoor hot spring can deeply feel the hotel's business philosophy and the deep integration of man and nature."
"Includes one dinner and one breakfast
Large amount of food and variety
The room is fully equipped with manual hand-grinded coffee
The large bath was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed it alone for nearly two hours.
Maybe it’s because many people booked a private bath.
The campsite is beautifully laid out and the campfire at night is a great atmosphere
Overall, a good experience
There was just a weird smell in the room, and the bathing area in the large bath was also…"
"The staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains."

Very Good
LLilyleIn West Izu, far away, by the sea, the scenery is beautiful. The exquisiteness of the dinner can make up for the regrets brought by the hotel's old age, all Japanese, but the whole decoration, the bathroom is not so new. The private soup is very good. Overall it is recommended, if it is not the price of the weekend, it is expensive. Usually it's okay.
GGuest UserWe loved our stay at Onsen Yado Miuguchi. Very comfortable and traditional style Japanese Ryokan with nice onsen. The breakfast we added was very delicious and very filling. When we return to Shuzenji we will be happy to stay here again!
Ddorisyu4853The decoration is in the Western style of the 1980s. For some years, the room we stayed in still has paint smell. I don’t know if it has been repaired recently. I am a little worried about whether the health will be affected. The location is really partial, there is nothing around, the hotel is also small, only eight rooms, no public entertainment facilities, no public hot springs. It rained heavily on the day we arrived and could only stay in the room with no view. Be careful not to drive by yourself. Traffic is too difficult. Compared with such an expensive house price, I really want to faint. Just came from Asahi of Shuzenji the day before, this price is more expensive than Asana, but the experience is like mud. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know what the bottom line is. The good place is good service, good ingredients for dinner and breakfast, the next day the weather cleared, saw Mount Fuji, at the same time the hotel helped to contact a reasonable price taxi to the next destination, which is a little soothing to check the mood of the day.
