This is my second time staying here. Previously, I had just stayed overnight, thinking, ”I'll just stay somewhere nearby for a weekend,” without any prior research or information. At the time, I was impressed by the beautiful inn and the delicious food. Since then, I have tried to make a reservation several times, but it was difficult. After two years, I was able to reserve a room during the long-awaited ”firefly season,” and visited. Although the peak season had passed, the rain stopped in the evening, and I was able to watch the fireflies by the river. The food was very delicious, and there was no unnecessary service, so it was a very reasonable and cost-effective hotel. I would definitely like to stay again in a different season.
Kasamatsutei an old folk house cultural property built about 150 years ago
Since it is a facility for renting one group per day we will not meet other than the guests who are staying
The nostalgic thatchedroof building that is typical of an old folk house not only the warehouse and Nagaya but also the back mountains vegetable fields and Tanigawa that surround Kasamatsutei will be your private space
There is also Aragijima which has been selected as one of the 100 best rice terraces in Japan and is designated as the only nationally designated important cultural landscape in Wakayama prefecture
For guests who wish to stay we can also prepare local dishes unique to this area
A special moment that you cant experience in the city and can only be experienced in the countryside
It brings nostalgia to adults and freshness to children
Why dont you make precious memories at this facility that reminds you of the original scenery of Japan
Standard Japanese business hotel, albeit with an onsen and newer than most. Breakfast is adequate, with western coffee on offer. Location is not central, but within 10-15 minutes walking distance to Shimo-Isaka station, restaurants, and a supermarket. Not exactly geared towards non-Japanese travelers, since the staff hardly speaks English and the hotel information given is only in Japanese. Extremely satisfied with it considering the affordable room rate.
Old-fashioned Japanese hotel with good service and good environment. There are also supermarkets nearby and it is very convenient to take a car. Leisure travel is very good.
Located in Katsuragi, Sanso Amanosato is a 2-minute drive from Niutsuhime Shrine and 9 minutes from Niusakadono Shrine.
Enjoy the recreation opportunities such as hot springs or make use of other amenities including complimentary wireless internet access.
A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Treat yourself to a stay in one of the 8 guestrooms, featuring heated floors. Rooms have private furnished balconies. Conveniences include safes and blackout drapes/curtains, as well as phones with free local calls.
When I checked in, I was very surprised because it was a room in a state where the previous guest was not cleaned.
There was a phone connecting to the front desk on the floor, so I called and came immediately and became the top floor.
The scenery was good and it was convenient to take the train because it was in front of the station.
I didn't know that it was not open yet, so the whole hotel was beautiful and lucky.
The breakfast was very delicious and I was satisfied with many kinds.
I used it for the live of big whale, but it was near the station and there was no problem at all about three train stations, so I will stay again when I live.
