Also, breakfast was changed from breakfast with only old rice balls and coffee to breakfast with several kinds of side dishes and rice, and I felt that it was more substantial than in the past. After being separated from our son and daughter-in-law for three years due to the pandemic travel restrictions, we were at last able to fly from the UK to visit them. We have stayed in the Crest Hotel before so we knew it was a great hotel, and this time it was just as good. We traveled around a bit so checked in and out of the Crest 3 times and each time was smooth and problem free. Our room had an impressive view over the city and out to Tokyo and mount Fuji on a clear day. Thanks to all of the staff who looked after us from the front desk to the restaurant, everyone went out of their way to look after us. We fully recommend anyone who is visiting Kashiwa for pleasure or business to stay here. It’s right next to the station with fast connections to Narita, Tokyo and Haneda. We will be back!
