"I chose this hotel for my trip to Amanohashidate. Aside from being a bit far and inconvenient without a car, everything else was fine. It offers great value for money; the decor is a bit old but very well maintained. There's just one thing I hope they can improve: when checking in, perhaps they could ask if guests need help laying out the futon. I ended up sweating after trying to put on the duvet cover myself, making my shower a bit pointless. It would be helpful to offer assistance for those unfamiliar with setting up Japanese futons."
"The hotel environment is very quiet and very comfortable! The view from the hotel room in the morning is super beautiful.
However, the hotel is located in a remote area, and there are convenience stores and restaurants only 10 minutes away by car.
In addition, the hotel's hot spring is relatively small."
"We booked a Japanese family room and we arrived about 6:00 pm. Our room was on 3rd floor, when the lift door opens, a strong fishy smell. The corridor were not air conditioned and it was hot. Our room is at the corner, had a stale atmosphere. It still summer and weather is incredibly hot, it would be helpful if the staff had prepared the room and cool it before we arrived. AC is not working well, the room was still not cool when we slept. We could not rest well. The mattress & bedding were not comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Overall it’s not worth a night for SGD423."
"Amanohashidate Hotel is located at the foot of Amanohashidate, with all its attractions within walking distance. Getting here from Kyoto is incredibly convenient: take the Tango Highway Bus and alight at Amanohashidate Station (buses to Ine Bay also depart from the same stop). The ryokan is right across the road. You can immediately drop off your luggage with the staff (if you've planned your arrival time well), making it effortless to head straight to Ine Bay. It's truly convenient for exploring both Amanohashidate and Ine Bay, the 'Kyoto by the Sea' region. This is a traditional Japanese *onsen* ryokan, built in 1900. All rooms boast magnificent views of Amanohashidate. The natural hot spring water flows directly from an underground source, offering wonderful health and beauty benefits. The included meals (dinner and breakfast) – a *kaiseki* dinner and buffet breakfast – were absolutely excellent and well worth the price, especially considering it was cherry blossom season!"
"We had a wonderful stay at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Amanohashidate! The location is excellent — surrounded by great local restaurants and right across from a supermarket. It was super convenient to buy food and warm it up in the shared area, where they also provide tea, ice, and more. The room was clean with a modern and minimalist design. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!"
"The hotel very close to the overpass station, added dinner and breakfast, but dinner is a steak meal, no attraction, but breakfast is buffet style, eat to the next door restaurant, CP value is high. In addition, you can go to the next door to soak in high-quality hot spring soup, comfortable. No bathroom in the room, but there is a sink, which is more convenient. There is a shower room and toilet on the first floor."
"The overall hotel environment is very good. It is located near Amanohashidate Train Station, about a five-minute walk away. There is free parking. The room is large and spacious with Western-style double beds and Japanese-style single beds. It can accommodate three to four people. Hot springs are available. There are small indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor area has a good atmosphere. There are open-air and rooftop areas. The hot springs are mineral hot springs."
"The location is convenient, only 3 minutes' walk from the train station. The hotel has been renovated and looks neat and new. The staff are also very attentive. The facilities are relatively simple. There are popsicles and tea in the rest area. It is recommended to have a coffee machine. The massage chair is relatively old, but it is well maintained overall. Worth a try."
"The hotel is about a 3-minute walk from Amanohashidate JR Station, which is very convenient for a 2-day trip to Amanohashidate. You can see the sea from the room window, and the scenery is great. Although the store can only speak Japanese, the food and service are very good. In addition, the Kansai Wide Area 5-Day Pass + Amanohashidate 2-Day Pass booked on Ctrip is also a good deal, because the 2-day pass alone at the Amanohashidate Tourist Center costs 3,500 yen."
