Amazing place within a peaceful neighbourhood. The hotel has several unique activities to try and not to mention the amazing staff they have. Loved every bit of it!
Featuring traditional Japanese-style wooden decor and hot spring baths, Isamikan is set in Bato Hot Spring District in Nakagawa, 46 km from Nikko. Free private parking is available on site. Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. An electric kettle and Yukata robes are provided for guests' comfort. Hot spring baths features views of Nakagawa River and mountains. There is also an open-air hot spring bath. Guests can sample Japanese cuisine freshly prepared with local produce.
Stayed in the Japanese style room in the room. It is a smoking room, but I asked for deodorant in advance, so there was not much cigarette smell. But you may be a little worried about sensitive people. The location of the Japanese style room is 1 floor, just a short walk from the lobby to the right hand. So the parking lot is visible from the window. On the other hand, the Shoji inside the window is closed because it is rounded from the parking lot. If you want to see the Naka River, the Japanese style room is not suitable. In the room, there is a step in the room with a bed and the tatami room, so be careful. The size is too large. The refrigerator is empty. The whole building is old, so the room is also tired. But there is no dirty, and the retro atmosphere is not bad. From the bath view bath (the size of 5~6 people), the Naka River and its surroundings are well seen and refreshing. In the morning, from 6 to 11 o'clock at night. The inner bath is not so big (about 7~8 people), both are the spring quality of the turtle, and it feels strange. The inner bath is not built like looking at the outside scenery. (except for cleaning time) put in 24 hours. The number of items was just right and one item was very satisfied with polite dishes. It is good that there is no fried food or tempura. The customer service is also polite and comfortable. The cherry blossom breakfast drink bar is free. Milk is either made from Tochigi specialty lemon milk or normal milk? There are many kinds of breakfast side dishes (* delicious baked) and this is also satisfactory. You can choose porridge or rice. The whole building is old, but it is a hotel with a sense of satisfaction with a customer of a spring quality cooking. Sightseeing around the cherry blossoms There are not many tourist spots like Nikko, but there are still some sights. 1) Ungon Ji Temple (a temple introduced by Koyuri Yoshinaga in JR East cm several years ago)2) Fujita pottery factory of Kosago Yaki (introduced in a small trip of NHK in 2016)3) Satoyama and tanada in Kosago District 4) Tang Gosho 5) Iwamura Kazuo Ebonnogaoka Museum of Art 6) Nakagawa-cho Mato Hiroshige Museum of Art 7) Washiko Yamakami Shrine (Owl Symbol) 8) Road Station Bato 9) Nakagawa Water Amusement Park, etc. Both are 20-30 minutes drive from the hotel.

Our hot spring with continuous flow from the source promotes beautiful skin, with its "natural radon components," and is available 24 hours a day. Rent-out outdoor bath with a view
Family trip with grandchildren of 4 years old and 10 months. It's perfect for families with children, and the children's sets look good and taste good, and if you tell the front desk, you can rent a baby bath, so you can put a hot spring in it and the baby enjoyed the first hot spring. There is also a space for children to play at the entrance, which is highly satisfying for families with children. The hot springs were hot springs with tromis, and the open-air hot springs were very good while listening to birds flying and the cry of cherry blossoms in the early morning. For dinner, I ordered a beef shabu-shabu set with a thin trout (although it was also included in the sashimi mortar, it was thin and the ponzu was delicious) and a salt-grilled salmon (I think it's frozen because it's out of time, but it's quite delicious). It was delicious though it was reasonable. If you go a little further, there is sunlight, and although the number of foreigners is increasing these days, it is not well known, so it is not crowded even during spring break and it is a little-known inn. It was an inn where you can enjoy food, hot springs, and reasonable inns, from small children to elderly people. We also recommend Ryumon Falls, which can be reached in less than 30 minutes from the inn. Spring break is even better if you go with cherry hunting. Some rooms can stay with your dog.
