"The hotel is strategically located in front of the Shinano Omachi station and also bus station to Ogizawa. Within walking distance there is supermarket where you can buy dinner, Daiso and drugstore. Their breakfast is buffet style and has variety of choices (Japanese + Western). It has 5 washing machines (washing+dryer) and another 1 machine for women only. It has a public bath too.
There is only 2 lifts but it is fast so no long wait. The room is clean and has all the necessities provided.
Perfect stay for those who intend to go Ogizawa in early morning (breakfast buffet starts at 6:30am and the next bus is 7:05am). You can send your luggage to Dentetsu Toyama station for 4000yen per piece at the hotel reception."
"The hotel is located a bit away from the city center, but that distance gives it a uniquely quiet, serene atmosphere with a real zen vibe. Our room had an epic view overlooking a mountain covered in red leaves, along with a golf course stretching out below. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even though their English was only average — their warmth more than made up for it. The onsen facilities are quite far from the new building, but still very pleasant and worth the walk. Overall, a peaceful and memorable stay."
"Everything was ok, quite standard. It was clean and really, no problems.
I only have a slight issue with the toilet: The shared toilet is shockingly small, and for the female one, it says that 2 can fit in there. Thankfully I was alone for my showers if not it would be really awkward. I also found it weird how if the main toilet door opens, the person changing can be seen by anyone outside. :(
Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and a good rest point for those going on the kurobe alpine route trail."
"Location is on the top of the mountain, not very convenient
But self-driving tour, it doesn't matter
4.5 hour drive from Narita Airport to the hotel
Check in is already more than 12 am
The hotel staff checked in for us after get off work
But it is snowing, there are mountain roads in the snow that are not open and there is no enclosure.
Mistake walked in because the mountain road that was not open did not shovel snow
The car is snowing.
Haocai is not far from the hotel
Hotel staff will help us soon trailer
Hotel service is very good, very satisfied
There is a cooking stove and tableware in the room
Very convenient.
The snow outside the hotel is so beautiful
I don't want to leave "
"It was a very big hotel with nice onsen (although it smells a little of chlorine) the place was swarmed with tour groups so buffet quality was not great but edible with quite a lot of variety. Parking was spacious. I gave 3 stars for service because we encountered a rude souvenir shop staff who yelled at us in Chinese and continued doing so even after we told her that we are not Chinese!"
"The room is clean and comfortable, there is a hot spring upstairs, it is comfortable to take a bath after skiing! The breakfast and dinner are exquisite, and the service attitude of the restaurant is very good.
On the day of check-out, the reservation made a few days in advance 🚕 did not come for a long time 😮💨
Ask the front desk to help check the status of the taxi, the heavy snow caused traffic congestion
The taxi is on the way, and the arrival time is unknown. The uncle at the front desk offered to drive us to Shinnong Omachi Station himself, which is really heartwarming."
"The starting point in front of Tateyama Kurobe is very convenient, the room is large, the equipment is good, the staff is good, the service is good, especially Mr. Jin from China, he is polite, attentive and helpful, a first-class waiter
My special thanks to Mr Jin from ************** who offer first class services to guest."
"It's very close to the station. Although you can't tell from the outside, the proprietress seems very friendly. There is a refrigerator, microwave, and bathing area (before 10 o'clock) which is great"
"The location are perfect, within walking distance to the stores. The hotel offer free shuttle to Ogizawa once a day. The hotel also offer free shuttle to the bus stop anytime we need. The staffs are helpful, polite and patience. The dinner and breakfast are delicious. The hotel and the room are neat and clean."
"I went to Hakuba to ski for half a month and wanted to stay in a hotel with a kitchen, so I chose this place. It’s not far to drive to Hakuba Ski Resort every day, but the car cannot be parked in front of the house. It has to be parked in the free parking lot outside, but it’s a bit difficult to drag the luggage back to the room in the snow!
There is no big problem with the room. There is enough hot water. The room has an air conditioner and a heater, so it doesn't feel cold. But for some reason the bedroom has no door. Maybe there is only one air conditioner in the whole house, installed between the living room and the bedroom?
It's a bit administratively confusing, the details are as follows:
I booked Base 2, but when I checked in, the staff gave me Base 1. I asked again if it was Base 1? The staff answered yes. I thought it was a deliberate arrangement by the hotel and did not investigate further. However, when I came back from skiing the next day, I found a notice posted on the gate. It said that the staff had given me the wrong room by mistake and asked me to go to the front desk, but they did not explain the solution. After arriving at the front desk, I could not communicate with the staff, and he did not say whether he wanted me to change rooms or pay more or anything. He just apologized for giving me the wrong room. I took the initiative to ask him if there would be other guests checking in. Otherwise, can I not move? Because I had already unloaded all the items in my four large luggages, it would take a lot of time to pack them up. Plus, I was exhausted after skiing all day and hadn’t eaten dinner yet. The staff was also hesitant and kept pressing his phone, but he didn’t use his phone to translate for me, so I was speechless… After at least twenty minutes of arguing, I took the initiative to suggest that I move back to Base 2, but he just kept saying OK OK. When I asked him to get the key to Base 2, he was stunned and asked me why? How can I move in if you don’t give me the key?
There was no cleaning or housekeeping during the stay, even the garbage from several days was not cleared, which was really unhygienic; towels and other supplies were not replenished either."
