"An old Japanese house not far from the station. The proprietress turned on the heating early in the room intimately. A convenient set of toothbrushes and towels was provided. The bath towels were a bit old. It's not peak season. Only a restaurant is open on the right hand side, and there is a convenience store on the opposite side. I don’t know if it’s forgotten or something, there are no sheets and quilt cover provided, and the lady boss has gone, gone, gone. It's kind of magical and a little awkward. Fortunately, there was only one group of guests on that day, and when we borrowed it, we built one house a day."
"Onyado Yuinsho was located about 27 mins walk up the hill from shirakawa go bus terminal. It is possible to walk there as it’s a quiet path along the road pavement and a lot of scenery to see. But it’s not advisable unless you miss the 1st shuttle bus to hotel at 3pm. Reason is due to the bears signboards located along the road indicating possible bear attacks. The shuttle bus service is good at scheduled timing available at their website. Service, food and facilities are top notch. I love their attention to details. I will highly recommended you include breakfast and dinner in hotel as the eatery are all about 20 mins walk away and lighting outside hotel is poor at night. The onsen is a must try with different types of cold, hot water, fountain, sit down, indoor and outdoor. The whole hotel is carpeted so schools are not allowed. Overall I love the unique experience and their attention to details."
"In Japanese-style rooms, you sleep on the floor. You can't take a shower in the bathroom. The hot spring is public. Southern little potatoes still mind this kind of arrangement. There are fewer activities in winter, but children still like it. The surrounding environment is good. The food is average. Maybe I don't like fish very much. Three dishes should not fill me up if I have a big appetite. I can barely fill myself up with a small stomach. Please note that although it is written on the menu that drinks are included in the set meal, please don't rush the waiter to serve the drinks first. My child was thirsty, so I asked them to serve the black tea first. In the end, the waiter said that the first order would be counted as the order, and I was charged 1500. After the meal, I was forced to serve the black tea in the set meal again. I was sweating profusely."
"The hotel is very small but in a great location, walking distance to the old village. However, don't expect a lot from the hotel, apart from the onsen, there are nothing much to do. Our room has no toilets or showers, you will have to go outside to do all your business. No slippers are provided so bring your own if you don't want to be barefeet.
Food was not bad and with a lot of small dishes. I found a hair in my dessert at the dinner which I was quite surprise for Japan standard.
Anyway I think I booked too latest min so ran out of options and had to pay a bit more than usual."
"One parking and two meals, including breakfast and dinner, very traditional Japanese cuisine, barbecue on the first night and Sukiyaki pot on the second night, the hotel also has a natural outdoor hot spring, which can relieve the fatigue of a day of skiing. The Yiliye Ski Resort is great. The hotel is only two minutes away from the ski area, which is very convenient."
"Nice place with free parking. Very nice and helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast are nice with full of Japanese culture. Very comfortable hot spring.
Honestly, it’s a bit old but they keep it very clean and nice. Really happy to be here."
