Hotels in Oshima

"Very cozy and beautiful cottages on the ocean shore. Two days off and would be happy to stay. Inside everything from the tree, design is made with taste. There is a bedroom, a Japanese-style room with footons (we decided to sleep in it), a cellar room and a spacious lounge area. And in the evening it is very nice to lie in the bath. The host is a very nice old man."

"I was a little worried about staying alone in the dormitory room, but once I closed the curtains, I was able to spend comfortably in a private space. I was personally happy that there was a freezer besides the microwave oven and refrigerator! One thing I was worried about was that I heard that the cafe space in front of the front desk was a free space for guests at night, so I was planning to read manga leisurely in my pajamas. During that time, a pair of men who were not guests appeared, and I was worried that they continued to talk to the young woman at the front desk without ordering. In addition, the woman was doing the front desk tightening work with her friends while making a speaker call (and loud), and there was no environment where she could spend a relaxing time at all. I was like a part-time high school student who was not accustomed to it yet, so I don't think it's the policy of the inn itself, but it was a pity because it wasn't like a tavern around there or a guest house for exchange purposes. I thought that it would be loose because it was an island, but I thought that it would be improved if I stayed again."

"It was an old hotel, but it was a very good hotel with a taste, and the staff were attentive and warm atmosphere. The room was a nice Japanese room with a calm atmosphere that could see the sea from two directions and felt the Showa period, but the radio wave of Wi-Fi seemed to be not stable except near the front desk. I stayed for 2 nights, but the night rice prepared a different meal for 2 days, and also responded to the additional dishes I asked in a hurry. The bath was more beautiful in the morning and daytime than at night and felt more relaxed. I would like to stay again when I go to Oshima again."

"Fantastic comfortable stay with a family-run business! I stayed at Hotel Kailani during a recent trip to Izu Oshima Island (a ferry ride from Tokyo). The hotel is located on the hills of Habu Port, with waterfront views and 2 minutes walk from one of the best lookout spots on the island. The hotel was clean, quiet, spacious, with plenty of amenities and facilities, and a great breakfast cooked daily by mother and daughter. The staff are very friendly and you can really feel the care and attention that has been given to the hotel. I believe this is one of the best hotels on the island, and I highly recommend it to all travellers!"
