"It is a good ski in and out resort. The ski area is just at the resort itself, very convenient. there are many toilets and lockers around the resort. The room is dated though, they are still using turning knob for taps and mixer. I thought they should upgrade their rooms given the price we paid for the rooms. Toothbrushes and toothpastes and cotton pads. things, eg ski equipment rental and food, are expensive in the resort. There is nothing much to do other than skiing and snow play. Recommended for family stay."
"Hokkaido in summer has its own unique charm. There's a direct hotel bus from New Chitose Airport. My flight was delayed by about an hour that day, but the shuttle bus staff waited directly at the arrival gate for us and even took us on a shortcut to exchange our pre-booked JR Pass. We're so grateful to this enthusiastic staff member!
The Westin is part of the Rusutsu Resort. While it's an older property, it's very well-maintained. The lobby is cozy, and the rooms are clean and tidy. All rooms are loft-style, but it's a bit inconvenient that there's no restroom on the second floor.
We had dinner at the hotel's buffet twice and at the Rusutsu Resort Hotel buffet across the street once. The Westin's buffet leaned more Western, while the resort hotel's was more rustic and offered a wider variety of dishes.
Hope to visit again in the winter during ski season!"
"The location is very close to the Rushoudu Snow Field, the kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped, the shuttle bus booking and cancellation are also very convenient, the shuttle bus is very punctual, if it is a large group of friends who want to charter a house, I recommend this place!"
"This is the best hostel. The boss is very kind and in Rusz
He gave me a lot of good tips about the resort system, and he took care of the attentive part.
The room was in very good condition and the water pressure was very strong.
You have a full amenities and free to the resort
Pick up service. (7 minutes walk)
And it's really, really delicious.
I am really satisfied with the Western/Japanese/Korean fusion breakfast. If you knew this kind of accommodation, there was no reason to use the hotel unless you were a honeymoon couple/a couple/child."
"The service was top !
We are extremely satisfied with the Vale this hotel. The room was spacious and had a pleasant surprise with its large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a wide and high view that allowed us to enjoy a snowscape. The facilities in the room are also very comprehensive, including a kitchen, a washer, and a dryer, which we are very satisfied with. Patricia (sweet smiling lady) knew that there were three of us and prepared an extra third chair so that we could all sit together to eat.
Melanie and Liam provided impeccable service. Despite the booking only two nights at The Vale, and we needed to move to Rusutsu resort ( no available in the Vale for the rest of our holiday) they assisted us to deliver our 7 luggage’s to Rusutsu resort(that hotel service is very so so)
This led us to The Rusutsu Resort hotel where our luggage was handled very well. Despite the extremely cold , Melanie and Liam were there to help us load our luggage onto the car, and Liam ensured that our belongings were safely delivered to the other Resort.
Honestly , the price in the Vale is value for money for this truly wonderful experience. Rusutsu Resort hotel is overpriced with the such quality service .
Thank you again Patricia, Melanie and Liam"
"I used it for family trips on my 4 year old son's birthday.
Helpful and polite staff.
Large and clean room.
I was very satisfied in everything.
I was delighted to hear a sudden request to put candles on the dessert at dinner, and my son was also delighted to put four candlelights.
I would like to use it if I have another chance.
