"This hotel has the best hotel receptionist we met on our 6 week traveling through Japan. Our bicycle was broken, she was very patient with the language barrier between us. She insisted we brought the bike insde the hotel as outside it was too hot. She went collect plastic gloves, carried our bike chain (which was very greasy), helped 10 minutes to work on the chain. She told us she worked in a bikeshop before she started working in the hotel. An amazing lady!!"

"We stayed here during the winter ski season. The lobby and restaurant were nice, but the twin room we stayed in felt a bit old-fashioned. The view of Lake Biwa from the room was amazing. Dinner was a bit pricey for what it was. The taste was average. The rice cooked in a pot and raw meat* for breakfast were delicious, but the children's breakfast menu was a huge pile of hamburger steak, fried chicken, bacon, and potatoes, so we didn't feel like eating in the morning. There were several shuttle buses to Hakodateyama Ski Resort in the morning, which seemed convenient. We went to Makino Kogen Ski Resort, which is about 20 minutes away from the hotel. I thought it was convenient because it was close to both ski resorts."

"The location of the hotel is particularly special. In the village, there is dinner and breakfast by the lake of Wuhu. The dinner is a famous local suxi pot. The breakfast is a traditional diet. The hotel is very clean. The facilities are outdated. The public bathroom and outdoor hot spring can look up at the starry sky. The whole floor is our family. There are few people for the location, the bathroom is a bit inconvenient outside the house, the service is very Japanese and very polite."

"Great option for visiting the Shirahige Shrine. The host offered a ride in the early morning after knowing we were planning to go, which was extremely kind of him. Room was very spacious and clean, with a nice view. Very close to the station and easy to find. The only thing I would note is that there was only one bath. We arrived around 830pm and planned to take the bath shortly, but by the time we settled and got downstairs (around 9pm), someone else was using it so we couldn't get in until after 930. It was a shame that we couldn't enjoy the hot bath as much as we wanted as we tried to hurry out for the next group since they were waiting after us but I'm not sure if they were able to use it as the bath closes at 10pm."

"A perfect stay, the owner was very enthusiastic, introduced different restaurants nearby and helped to book the hotel. Although it was not perfect for communication, there was no problem with the translation. The first floor is a public bathroom with a bath pool. The hotel is out of Wuhu, very beautiful. Will definitely come again if you have a chance"
