"Everyone of the employees will respond very comfortably, and in a good sense, if you don't want to interfere, watch over gently and follow with casual service. I didn't eat dinner, but the breakfast was a delicious and varied buffet. I was also happy with the service of yukata where you can choose the color pattern and the service where you can always have hot drinks."
"Nice hotel in a good location, the only drawback (and a major one) is that WiFi in room 404 doesn’t work which is real shame, as otherwise it’ll be 5/5.
I get a full signal but it doesn’t connect to the internet. Seems to be limited to the room as the internet works fine in the common areas."
"It should be called Daguangyuan Hotel instead of Carrot Hotel. The hotel is large and well-equipped. It has a large bathhouse. I went there late that day and didn't take a shower, but the facilities were great. The room was clean and tidy, and I really liked the Japanese-style stay. Takehara City is a great place and I might like it more if I watch the anime Tamaki. I like the hotel to last for a long time."
"Ok, this one is difficult to rate.
The room comes with a magnificient view on the sea. That's what made me chose that place.
But it is remote. So, if you have no car, except walking a good 2km from the train station along a road.
There is nothing to eat there. It is a stop/sleep/leave concept of hotel. Once again, if you have no car... you won't walk back the 2km to find something to eat.
You sleep on the floor. No surprise here and I slept particularly well so, no complains. Just be aware of that.
Toilets, bath, all is shared.
Room are old but all ok and one of the biggest space I got during this trip. Furnitures are also old. You may feel like you are staying at grandma place for a while.
The building, from the 70's probably, is not sound proof. You may enjoy your neighbor sleep. As I did.
I did book for 2. Probably because Trip was not proposing other option or because it was the cheapest one, not sure. The lady at the entrance kept me waiting for 15mn for that reason showing that she was embarrassed to give me the keys for that already paid room. This moment was uncomfortable to say the least.
The remote part, the furnitures style, the oldish atmosphere, the old room door still requiring a key and that squeak a little bit... may not please everyone. It comes with its sweet creepy feeling.
Not an hotel for everyone. But damn, the view in the morning... splendid."

"As the only option on the island, although the hotel is quite historic, it offers quality services and well-maintained facilities. Both breakfast and dinner are Japanese buffets, and I think the taste is pretty good. The hotel also arranges special activities, where you can watch sea firefly at night. Although you don’t go to the beach, it is still quite special. Rabbits can be found all over the island, especially near the hotel, where you can see them even from your room."
