"Overall, it's very good, though the location is a little remote. You can take the hotel shuttle or a taxi (1000 JPY one-way; first-time guests can claim reimbursement at the front desk upon check-in by showing their receipt).
Electric bicycles are available for rent directly at the hotel. They're a bit pricey but very convenient.
The food at the hotel restaurant is really delicious! I highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included. The breakfast spread is very generous, and you can even make your own donburi bowl 🤤.
It's very clean, and the interior design is quite stylish."
"You really could not ask for more. The shared space view is exactly the needed wind-down after crazy Kyoto crowds. It is conveniently across the street from the train station and ferries and adjacent to supermarkets, cafes and conbinis. The restaurant at the hotel is also very excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful and the amenities are top shelf. You also get Onsen access as a guest. It was a bit dark and stuffy in the cabin but if you are in a proper room there should be no issues. Have fun exploring Uno and the islands!"
"We happened to be here on a japan national holiday so the hotel was very crowded. Including the onsen. Overcrowded. But the staff was polite and patient. The onsen also provides many toiletries including face scrub and foot scrubber. Able to see nice sunset if u book a room with sea view"
"I was able to spend comfortably in a very clean facility! The food was very delicious and I was satisfied! The staff were kind and I was able to stay with peace of mind!
I would like to use it if I have another chance 😊"
"The hotel gave me a surprise. Three minutes walk from the bus, five minutes walk to the subway station, five minutes walk to the beach. Three minutes walk to the port by boat. The sandwich for breakfast was delicious. The kimono is also beautiful"
"The location is really hard to find, it is recommended to take a taxi at Ueno Station, the scenery is good. Suitable for slow play, no service staff after ten o'clock in the evening"
"We stayed in a cube room. A great location to just spend the night and see the area.
But, since it is a converted container, it quickly cools down on cold nights and you have to constantly heat the air with an air conditioner, and it is quite noisy. Not critical, but we were unable to get a good night's sleep"
"The room is not small, very comfortable, it is an apartment nature, you can cook, the room is not too convenient to be equipped with a microwave oven. The only problem is that this small room is a temporary room, the sound insulation is not particularly good, it is easy to wake up in the morning than birds or cicadas.
In the morning there is free bread, butter, jam. There is a convenient soup, you can drink it.
You can rent an electric bicycle, and it is especially convenient to ride around the island. There is a section of the road that does not allow bicycles to pass during the day. It seems that after 5 o'clock, the museum is closed and no one cares.
Still quite recommended."
"The cats in the lodge were very nostalgic and it was a stay purified by the singing of trees 々 and birds. You can walk to the Benesse Museum, etc., even if you don't rent a bicycle from Naoshima Port ◎
There was something from the previous person in the refrigerator in the room, but when we forgot something, we were happy to respond! Thank you very much!
There was a sauna at night and it was great to relax!"
