"The hotel has a hot spring, a snow park, and a shuttle bus to and from Kamikoku ski resort. It's so comfortable to soak in a hot spring after skiing.
There is a shuttle bus for transportation. It's a 45-minute drive from Yuzawa Station. It's a little far, but it's one of the best choices for skiing near Tokyo.
The staff's English is really not good, and the communication is... quite different from Tokyo. Not everyone is friendly, but I like it. Because it's not a tourist attraction, I guess there are not many foreigners who come here to stay."
"The hotel staff has a good attitude. When you get off the bus, you will arrange the luggage parking space. The English communication is uncomfortable. The water quality of the soup is a bit diesel. It is said that the hot springs drawn from the lower layer of gas oil are one of the three major Japanese medicine soups. There is a pig with a 68-degree hot spring. The meat is soft and tender, very distinctive, and it is a hotel that will stay again."
"The location of the hotel is very quiet, the whole is clean and novel without losing the temperature and Japanese culture. There are 5 independent soup houses; the hotel ㄧ only serves 5 groups of guests, very privacy!"
"The hotel is a remodeled Japanese house and the whole environment is OK. The owner's predecessor is estimated to be a hunter, and the restaurant in the store has many animal specimens. The room is quite ordinary. There are two folding beds in the room, with air conditioning and heating. There are public toilets and places to wash outside the room. The public bath room has a hot spring pool of about 8 square meters, and the hot spring is quite good.
The owner is a couple aged about seven or eighty. The housekeeper's grandmother is very axes, can't speak English, and communication is difficult. When I left, I wanted to store my luggage temporarily. She was unwilling.
Because the next day was Saturday, the house price tripled, and I changed rooms.
It is more than 3 kilometers from Shiri-sapporo Station. It takes more than an hour to pull luggage on foot. It is very expensive to take a taxi and it costs about 2,000 yen."
"Very nice, bunk room good for school group or backpacker, with convenient infrastructure include restaurant, vending machine, microwave and public bath, recommend to drive there."
The Matsunoyama Onsen Shirakawaya provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Tokamachi will find that the Matsunoyama Onsen Shirakawaya is a fantastic accommodation choice. Matsudai Station is located approximately 12km away from this hotel. This hotel is located near many of Tokamachi's attractions including Matsunoyamaonsen Yakushido, Nasteview Yunoyama and Fudotaki Waterfall. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. When it comes to Tokamachi hotels, the Matsunoyama Onsen Shirakawaya is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.
"It is the appearance of the Japanese countryside in the imagination, whether it is hard or soft, it is a stay experience that people have been reminiscent of. I hope to have the opportunity to bring my family back to stay.
There is a scheduled pick-up and drop-off from Songdai Station, which needs to be reserved first.
Breakfast and dinner are recommended to make an appointment first. If it is full, it may not be available. It is a hot spring street within a minute of walking nearby. There are also some restaurant options."
"I really enjoyed my stay! The host was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. The place is about a 15-minute drive from the city center, so it’s not right in the middle of things, but the amazing view totally makes up for it. It’s such a nice spot to chill and take in the scenery. Plus, the WiFi was really fast, which was a big win for me. Would definitely stay here again!"
