"2025/9/3 Stay in a twin room (no bathroom)
Kind and intimate youth travel, spacious public space, public washroom and public toilet, large refrigerator enough to use, kitchen only for employees to use .
The check-in counter is on the 2nd floor. The 1st floor is the restaurant and bathhouse. Pay attention to the bathhouse usage time (14:00-21:30). The staff at the counter of the Youth Hostel will give the bathhouse coupon. Remember to bring the towels and bath products of the Youth Hostel to use!
Many guests are coming to climb the Riga Mountains!"
"The hotel service is first-class, the staff is in good English, I randomly assigned the room, but gave me a smoking room, although I used SMS to inform the hotel not to give me a smoking room, but when I came to the hotel, I still gave a smoking room. After I communicated with the staff, he immediately changed the non-smoking room than me. I was really grateful. It was a surprise to go to the room. It was a twin room. The room was comfortable and the place was wide. It was highly recommended. I had the opportunity to come here again and definitely stay again."
The Mitsuishi Konbu Onsen Kurazo provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Shinhidaka will find that the Mitsuishi Konbu Onsen Kurazo is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is conveniently located a short 4km drive from JR Honkiri Station. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Mitsuishikonbuonsen Kurazo, Michi-no-Eki (Roadside Station) Mitsuishi and Mitsuishi Seaside Park all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.
"This hotel is ideally located for those looking to visit or hike Mt. Apoi. It's an older, budget style hotel, with most rooms offering just toilets and no showers or baths. However, there are separate male and female onsens available on the ground floor.
The restaurant is good for dinner, but I strongly recommend skipping breakfast. For 1850 yen, you get a pre-made roll with egg on one side and ham on the other—it’s fine as a meal, but definitely overpriced!
The hotel is showing its age, and seems to be struggling financially. The walls between rooms are quite thin, so it's easy to hear your neighbors. On the bright side, the location is peaceful.
The staff are fantastic—extremely helpful and made every effort to communicate with us in English, and welcome patrons with a warm smile."
