"I would recommend this place to anyone taking the Shinkansen at Shin-Yatsushiro Station.
The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious.
I also liked that you don't have to eat breakfast at the venue, you can take it to your room in a plastic container."
"This hotel does not have water and is a bit far from convenience stores, so drinks are essential. Also, the walls are thin, which was a bit of a problem. I could hear sneezing and toilet noises in the hallway, so this is not suitable for people with sensitive skin. However, there were many types of shampoo at the front desk, and I was very satisfied with the containers that I could use."
"The environment is quiet, although the hotel has a certain year, but the facilities are well protected
There is a big bath that is very good, very suitable for relaxing after playing.
The location is in the city center, a certain distance from the JR station, but there are buses in the city. If you take a taxi to the Shinkansen Station to Kumamoto, the taxi is about 15 minutes away. The hotel front desk can make an appointment or contact the taxi by phone. There is also an airport bus stop to Kumamoto Azu at the hotel (my original plan).
There are restaurants nearby, but because I didn't eat nearby, there was no evaluation.
However, the whole city is very early, about nine o'clock in the evening, the street is quite quiet, the street lights are a little far away, pay attention to the power of the mobile phone.
Breakfast is included, Japanese and Western styles are available, yam short books and fried fish are delicious.
The front desk service is very good! Very friendly! Help solve the problem! Miss Shimaida at the front desk is very good and fluent in English, which greatly accelerated the time for my problem solving.
Due to the weather, the flight was cancelled at 10 pm. After a friend helped to contact the ticket to take off from Fukuoka, he needed to confirm the transportation route tomorrow immediately. So I went to the front desk to check, Miss Shimada fluent English quickly understood my questions and needs, provided a JR timetable, and found the required expenses, assisted in booking the next day's taxi, and also handed over to the next class.
I am also very grateful to the front desk of the next day (a gentleman) for helping to contact the taxi early and communicate with the taxi driver on behalf of the destination and need a receipt."
"It's located very near to the train station that is very convenient for travelling and with many restaurants around. Room is rather small but clean with all the necessities required. The public bath and free breakfast are extra bonus for the booking. We enjoyed our stay very much."
"The environment is okay - there are several izakayas downstairs, so I'm not afraid of running out of food. When I saw my car parked at the door, the waiter had already walked out and there was no parking space. He immediately helped me to take me to a parking lot with a seat! 👍🏻"
"The location is remote but driving can solve the problem. The room is small but well-equipped, the heating system is acceptable in winter, and the bathroom is warm. If you choose this hotel for a self-driving tour, it is worth a try."
"My brother and me had a terrific stay in the beautiful setting. The drive up the mountain on a tiny road is well worth it. The hostess is so friendly and wonderful, and was so hospitable. She explained the food dishes that were served using Google translate. The food was amazing, so varied and included local specialties: Trout, fried moth larvae, black moss that grows on rocks ( local delicatessen), wild hog soup, deer sashimi, etc. We experienced the finest Japanese food and hospitality. Traditional bedroom with tatami mats and access to the unsen were added amenities.
Thank you for the memorable experience!
