"Conan Fan: Bokoro Ryokan at Wangkoro Tower. Manga episode 69 and TV drama episodes 648 & 649, ”The Script of the Steam Room”: We went to investigate the ”crime scene” in the men's bath. It turned out the door leading to the ”locked room” was locked. The Conan fan said it was probably a precaution after the incident, and he was incredibly engrossed. Mr. Gosho Aoyama returns here every year, so the hotel has many manuscripts and a complete set of manga books. The Wagyu beef in Tottori is delicious, but for Conan fans, nothing is more important than being there in person.
The waitress, Ms. Yamada, was very attentive and even left us a note in Chinese. Highly recommended for Conan fans. Choose the hotel's package including breakfast and dinner; the meals are very plentiful (fresh ingredients, we ate until we were stuffed). There are also complimentary Tottori specialties in the room (biscuits, sweets, pear jelly). A suggestion: if you're soaking in the outdoor onsen, wear a hat, otherwise you might catch a chill afterward.
Please note that hotel check-out time is 10:00 AM. If you have booked your return train, you can choose a train departing after 10:30 AM. The hotel offers a pick-up and drop-off service, which can be booked in advance through Ctrip customer service. Pick-up to the hotel is at a flexible time before 6:00 AM, but drop-off time is fixed."
"The toilet and bathroom are public. When I booked it, I didn't see clearly that it was not convenient for a family to use. Children have to go to the toilet often and have to go out and enter the room. There is a hot spring written, but it is only like a hot bath? You have to pay a tax of 150 per person when you check in. Fortunately, the room was clean and tidy, I saw a lot of stars at night, and I could see the sea in the morning. The staff was friendly. But the price I booked was too expensive, more than twice as expensive as usual. It is recommended to come with friends, and it may not be very good for children."
"The location is so good for the price.
However, there is no place to eat around, so it is difficult.
There is no hot spring, but hot spring water is available in the bathtub"
"This is a lakeside hot spring hotel with excellent facilities. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. The Japanese dinner served was great and the portions were generous. The breakfast was of self-service type with wide selections of Japanese (many with local ingredients) and western cuisines. Both the indoor and open air hot spring baths have excellent view of the Togo lake. Highly recommended."

"A lovely little stay in Hawai Onsen! The local area was so quiet and peaceful, with a couple of good restaurants and a convenience store within a short walk (we were also offered assistance with an izakaya reservation, if we wanted it). The room was big and clean, with comfortable beds and a good selection of provided ameneties. Owner was also very attentive to our needs, and offered additional towels and cleaning if/when we wanted it. Bath was always warm and very relaxing, including an outdoor one.
Although the rooms were clean, the shared areas could have done with some additional cleaning - the sinks were not always clean (some hair/dirt), and there were sometimes holes in the bug netting. The trip listing is a little incorrect, as the ”run of house” listing is still only a room with a shared bathroom. The ”shared bathroom” also refers to a full shared onsen experience, with no private shower cubicles etc available. There was a kettle/fridge available, but it would've been nice to have some more kitchen items (plates, chopsticks) as well as a microwave available."
"The hotel is a walk from the lake; near Matsuzaki Railway Station.
Thanks to the reception staff and restaurant service staff, even in the face of foreign passengers who do not speak Japanese at all, they patiently communicate and introduce; the quality of catering and service is really great!"
