"In a bizarre place like this ghost town (writing this in September 2025 - it might change) the Bodhi is an island of normality. Excellent hotel , friendly and helpful staff. Reception seemed the only place in ”town” where English is spoken. Generous Chinese buffet breakfast."
"The room is quite large and overall is OK, especially the wide view. You can see the street, vegetable market, tin houses, etc. downstairs at a glance! The internet speed is also good! There is also a car pick-up, which is good."
"Very good! The hotel is clean! It's pretty good in Boten. The front desk service is good! Free pick-up and drop-off at the train station, available on call! I will stay here again next time I come"
"The room is spacious, well-planned, and clean and tidy. It is very comfortable to stay in. The bed is soft and supportive, and I slept very soundly. The bathroom is designed with dry and wet separation, which is very practical and kept very clean. The environment is quiet at night, and the sound insulation effect is good, which is suitable for a good rest. The hotel also provides a convenient pick-up service to the port railway station. The person in charge is very enthusiastic, making the overall stay experience more pleasant. Overall, it is a good experience among the nearby hotels."
"The room is large and well-equipped, with good soundproofing and quiet at night. The hotel provides round-trip pick-up and drop-off services to the port, making travel very convenient. The person in charge, Manager Chen, is very hospitable and introduced the local cultural characteristics to us, giving us the opportunity to experience live-fire target shooting. This trip was very pleasant!"
"Excellent location, very brand new hotel, very comfortable to stay, and excellent services, with free clothes washing provided. The manager Lady is very nice and friendly and very helpful. There are free self preparing tea sets and tables with free tea leaves provided too. The hotel provides free transport to the border and the train station. There are many good Chinese restaurants just around the corner, and there is a big supermarket just nearby, and many small groceries shops nearby too."
"The new building is relatively quiet, the location is a bit remote, the room facilities are average, the mattress is Simmons on the hard side, and the bathroom is not big. There's nothing wrong with improvising, but the price is a bit expensive. The room type information of 48 square meters is wrong, it's only about 18 square meters."
"Hotel offers airport/train pickup. But my request to pickup via Trip.com was overlooked. However, the staff services were great and helpful. They offered drop off at the Laos border customs on checkout and call forward to my next destination hotel.
There is a serious issue that the management needs to look into. My room had strong cigarette smell and when I asked for nonsmoking room, I was told there is non available! I had a serious headache caused by the cigarette smoke smell despite I opened the window through out the night!"
"The room was clean and odorless. The front desk was warm. I communicated with the hotel in advance to pick me up at the port. I sent me to the Moding High-speed Railway Station the next day. The Bumblebee at the door supported the punch card."
