It is a hotel that you will not regret staying at. The room was large and relaxing. The staff were well educated and polite. The hotel is for sightseeing.
The water on the island is very delicate and clear, because the weather in the rainy season is not good enough, but it is charming enough! The waiters are very enthusiastic, and they will say hello when they meet, but the butler is generally ineffective. The privacy of the room is also very good, the breakfast is very rich, it is recommended to have Thai food for dinner, the price is cheaper and exquisite than the buffet. Snorkeling is very convenient. After experiencing the sand house and water house, you can go directly to the sea in the backyard of the sand house. It is recommended to live in the sand house if you like to play in the water. The water house is very comfortable and there are many fishes underneath. Children love it!
Our stay at Soneva Fushi was nothing short of perfection, a true celebration of luxury, privacy, and sustainability. From the moment we arrived, we felt deeply cared for and utterly pampered, making our 2-night stay an unforgettable experience. We were privileged to stay in the 2-Bedroom Crusoe Residence (Villa 24), a spacious and beautifully designed villa offering over 300 sqm of space. Surrounded by tall frangipani, the villa ensured ultimate privacy, with our own secluded strip of pristine beach. Most of the time, it felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves—truly a magical experience. The villa also featured its own private pool, an outdoor shower, and a sunken bathtub, offering a luxurious and serene retreat that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the island. Our host, Shan, deserves special recognition for his exceptional care and warmth. From the moment we met, we felt a personal connection, and his attention to detail made our stay even more special. As we celebrated our anniversary and my wife’s birthday during this trip, Shan surprised us with a beautiful message drawn in the sand—a heartfelt and touching gesture that we will treasure forever. Any guest would be lucky to have Shan as their host, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours. The island’s commitment to sustainability mirrors that of Soneva Jani, with nearly self-sufficient electricity and a deep focus on eco-friendly practices. This ethos seamlessly blends with their exceptional culinary experiences. At Shades of Green, we delighted in vegetarian dishes crafted from the resort’s fresh produce. Special thanks to Winni, whose skillful preparation and passion for the cuisine made the experience even more memorable. Out of the Blue was our go-to spot for refreshing cocktails while enjoying breathtaking sunsets over the Indian Ocean. Dining at Fresh in the Garden was an adventure in itself. The tree-top restaurant, accessible via a suspension bridge, offered a unique and thrilling approach. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere unmatched. After dinner, we were thrilled to visit the island’s observatory, complete with its own telescope and an astronomer who was both knowledgeable and friendly, making stargazing a truly magical experience. Our journey to Soneva Fushi was as delightful as the stay. The 30-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport (MLE) to the resort offered mesmerizing views of coral reefs and lagoons. The experience began even before we arrived, with pampering at the Soneva lounge at the terminal, setting the tone for what was to come. We were greeted in our villa with a complimentary bottle of Leclerc Briant champagne, a thoughtful touch that perfectly aligned with the resort’s eco-friendly ethos. As enthusiasts of biodynamic champagne, this gesture resonated deeply with us, especially since we had the privilege of visiting this boutique champagne house in France. The Soneva Soul spa added an extra layer of re

We stayed at Madi Finolhu guesthouse for 4 nights in July 2022. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Marteen and Mamoon, who were both super friendly and did everything they could to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The room was very spacious, with a large big bed and lots of room to maneuver. We especially liked the shower, which was partially outside and provided really hot water continuously - really nice after long days of snorkeling or diving! Breakfast was serviced daily in Marteen's café, we really enjoyed the fact that he provided a local Maldivian breakfast each morning. The reef in front of the island is nice, with lots of fish and some patches of live corals. During our stay, I got my Advanced Padi Open Water license with Manta Tribe Maldives diving center, who were great and took us to some nice dive spots. All in all we had a pleasant stay at Madi Finolhi on Maalhos. Since the ferry was not running due to rough seas, the guesthouse provided private transport to our next island. Thank you Marteen and Mamoon for your kind service and attention during our stay!

We stayed at Kisha Beach resort for three days in Oct ‘24 and loved it! It’s a quiet, relaxing hotel right in the beach with a pool and great snorkeling just off its breakwater. Kisha also offers many excursions and we mainly stayed here as it’s so close to the Manta Ray snorkeling area, which the hotel will arrange a trip to. There is also a half day and full day snorkeling trip which includes time at a spectacular sand bar so you certainly won’t be bored! The food at the hotel was excellent, served buffet style, and there is a sandy road behind the hotel which leads into town and is definitely worth the stroll to see how the locals live and to pick up some souvenirs T the shop by the pier. I have to say as well that the staff at the Kisha Beach was just incredible- some of the nicest most caring people you will encounter! I don’t think I ever saw the two young ladies who worked the desk without a big smile on their faces and the servers and concierge truly cared about our experience- just truly wonderful people! If you want a comfortable, peaceful, beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities and an incredible staff you can’t go wrong with Kihaa Beach and I would definitely stay there again!

From June 27 to July 12… our first stay here and we are already thinking of booking again for February 2025 as we had such a perfect stay. The hotel very kindly arranged our internal flights from Male to Dharavandoo which we paid for about a week before our arrival. This is very useful because booking directly with Manta Air or one of the other operators costs significantly more. Once we arrived, a hotel staff member was at the local airport to greet us and take us on a short (five-minute) ride to the hotel by golf cart with our luggage. There are around 12 rooms which are all lovely - the beach rooms are a little simpler (but still perfectly acceptable), the luxury rooms are ideal and very well furnished. We had a beach room and our daughters the Deluxe room. Both had excellent air conditioning for very humid nights. The staff could not be faulted, as it is a small hotel, everyone was recognizable and extremely helpful in every sense of the word. The food was excellent, fish, pasta, chicken and much more. As there are only a limited number of people, the food is served directly or as a small buffet and was always hot as it was not left standing for hours as is often found. Prices were very reasonable if you ordered additional meals which were not part of your package and tea and coffee were free and soft drinks very reasonable. The dining and reception areas are perfectly clean and tidy. The bikini beach is about 20 meters from the rooms where there are sun loungers and towels or yoga mats are free from the hotel. In the garden you will find seating and tables for outside dining if you wish. Just ask and a table will be set for you and food will be brought to your table (no charge for eating out). There were rarely more than 10 people using the beach and deck chairs when we were there, so we had a lot of the beach to ourselves most of the time. The lagoon near the beach is shallow and suitable for children taking their first steps in snorkeling. Those with a little more experience can head to the reef just beyond the lagoon and see a much greater variety of fish and maybe even a passing turtle if you're lucky. If you don't have any equipment, just talk to the hotel. The LVIS Blancura is about a 4-5-minute walk along the beach to the harbor and the town itself, where you'll find a variety of shops from gift shops to a well-stocked supermarket and a pharmacy if you need one. you need. All of these products are very reasonably priced (around $1 for a chocolate bar if that helps). There is also a hospital on the island – but I hope it will not be necessary. There are about five or six cafés and restaurants (plus the guest houses and hotels where you can also eat). Overall we were delighted with our stay at the LVIS Blancura and have no hesitation in recommending them for singles, families or couples. As mentioned we will be booking again for 2025.
