The food is very good, the buffet is rich in variety and changes every day. There are not many people, the facilities and services of the pool and bar are very good. Conditions for snorkeling are mediocre, but the beach is beautiful.

It's a great resort. The facilities are not very luxurious, but they are very thoughtful and have everything you need. The water house also has a jacuzzi, which is very enjoyable. The scenery is great, and you can see a lot of things while snorkeling. You can usually see small sharks on the beach while walking around the resort. At this accommodation price, it is a perfect experience. There are very few Chinese people here. I saw two on the first day on the island, but none after that. They were basically European. I brought my family with me for vacation🏖️. The employees were very nice. There was a Chinese-speaking teacher on the first day on the island. My sister helped me check in, but I didn't see him for the next few days. Fortunately, I was able to play well with my loose English. In short, if the budget is limited, this resort is definitely the best choice. You can stay for a few more days. The scenery and services will not be discounted. I will go again if I have the opportunity!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Perla Dhangethi. We traveled with our 12 year old son and a group of friends staying for 2 weeks and it was honestly the BEST vacation we've had ever... and we travel a ton. The accommodations are very comfortable and provided plenty of space. The beds were extremely comfortable, the AC worked well, the hot shower was always a warm welcome after a long day of EPIC adventures with the Perla staff. We went whale shark swimming, reef snorkeling, manta ray swimming, nurse shark swimming, sand bank snorkeling and lunch, abandoned island exploration and MORE. Our excursions were beyond incredible and the Perla guides were absolute experts. The gursthouse grounds are lush and welcoming. The staff is friendly and warm. What else can I say? This was a 10/10 stay for sure. If you book here you will not regret it. Folks who stay here are not treated like random guests, they are treated like family and that's how we felt the entire time. We can't wait to return.

Overall good, the restaurant service is superb, the package is also very good for three meals, there are many fish in the morning and evening under the water house, most of the coral is dead. The front desk service is general, and the whole face is stinky in the next few days.

How do you describe somewhere in the world so perfect? Honestly didn’t believe there was such a place until my husband and I visited Maafushivaru Maldives in May. We stayed here on the recommendation of Kuoni and it was the best recommendation ever. Within two hours of our arrival, my husband and I both said we wished we were staying longer. That instant welcome and warmth we were greeted with was overwhelming. Moosa We were honoured to have Moosa as our Personal Guest Assistant. His efficiency and friendliness during check-in was exemplary which was reassuring after a long journey. He afforded special attention to our villa and needs. He has a lovely gentle discreet manner and wants to ensure the stay is faultless. He had even noticed we hadn’t included a dinner reservation at the Teppanyaki Table during our stay so on his recommendation, we thankfully did as the experience was outstanding. Moosa was always available and nothing was too much trouble. On the day of our departure, Moosa kindly joined us on the boat to the seaplane which was a lovely touch as he knew we were sad to leave. His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is commendable. He went above and beyond to ensure our needs were meet every single day which we were both truly grateful. Villa We stayed in an overwater villa which was an amazing experience. We didn’t expect to see so much sea life from the balcony and to have the steps going straight down into the ocean was magical. The layout of the villa has been well thought out; separate outdoor access to the bathroom so you don’t have to walk through the bedroom in your wet swimwear. Literally everything you need is provided. Housekeeping The villa was always immaculate and we were lucky enough to be looked after by the lovely Nafiu. If we were on the balcony during one of his visits, he was always very discreet and respectful. Housekeeping work extremely hard visiting twice a day and nothing went unnoticed; always very thorough and loved the personal touches. Food and Beverage The food was absolutely fabulous with each and every meal a true delight. The choice of gluten free dishes available was outstanding and so refreshing for my husband. Chandlana (Restaurant Manager) kindly arranged a surprise of the most amazing display of curry dishes on our last evening in the Cuisine Gallery. Wherever you eat at Maafushivaru the standard of food is exceptional throughout. The culinary expertise and delectable dishes prepared each day were a highlight of our stay. The choice of drinks was vast and great to have the expertise of Viafil, Assistant Bar Manager, and learn from his wealth of knowledge. Very good. My daughter and I both think this is the best hotel on this trip. The price-performance ratio is also very high. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The only downside is that there is a waiter in the restaurant who has been courteous and does not want tips, but asks us to buy him a hookah. After we refused, he went to buy it himself and signed our room. When we checked out, we found this matter and communicated with the hotel. The hotel will refund the money to us.

Nova Resort was chosen after much online research. It was our first visit to the Maldives and so this review contains no comparisons to previous Maldivian experiences. The headline summary is however, that after over 30 years of holidaying as a couple, this resort and holiday ranks as number one. From the moment we arrived, to when we left, we couldn’t find a fault with the staff or the facilities. A holiday in paradise where we were perfectly looked after. The number of guests that the complex accommodates is up to about 180. (There are more staff than guests). It means that it never felt busy. We were there in late February and didn’t get troubled by mosquitoes or other insects. Not sure whether that is a benefit of when we visited or is the norm. It is worth noting that the entire resort has undergone a renovation approximately 18 months ago and so none of the facilities are ‘tired’. Staff Without exception, every member of staff was pleasant, had a smile on their face and went out of their way to make sure that you were happy and well looked after. This included the ‘behind the scenes’ staff such as the maintenance and house keeping teams. Discussions with staff confirmed that Nova looks after their employees and that probably goes along way to them recruiting and retaining staff with the right attitude. Dining Most meals were taken at the ‘Soul Kitchen’ which was a buffet and self service. The food was varied with daily choices to suit all tastes. The buffet area where the food is collected is a separate air-conditioned room from the dining area. This ensured that the food was kept in a temperature controlled environment. The waiting staff were amazing - kept our drinks topped up, water glasses refilled and plates cleared as we finished each course. They worked hard, but importantly there were enough staff on duty all the time. We ate at ‘Flames’ on three occasions, where it is a fully-served ‘a la carte’. The quality of the food and the service was excellent, but not all dishes were included as part of the ‘all inclusive’ package. That felt a bit strange and maybe it would be better to give a financial ‘allowance’ to all-inclusive diners rather than a small discount off some dishes. As an example, you could have a 220g rib-eye steak as part of the package, but you have to pay for a 220g sirloin steak. We also paid extra for the ‘Fish BBQ on the beach’, which was excellent, but again felt that maybe more than a 15% discount as an all-inclusive guest would have been appropriate. Diving The diving experiences and the team at ‘Aquaholics’ were super. One of the most professional outfits that I have dived with. Whilst the corals in the area are badly bleached, the marine life is fantastically varied and plentiful. Successful trips were organised to snorkel with Whale Sharks and dive with Manta Rays. That coupled with the ‘normal’ sharks, napoleon wrasse, turtles etc etc made for a memorable week of dives. The dive crew knew their dive sites
