"Pro: A nice, chic hotel in a strategic location near food places and a big Econsave hypermarket. Easy & ample parking. Cons: Not used to a bathroom without a door, though. The room was too dim with only warm lighting. Upgrading to a window room was too costly for me. Front desk service could be improved. Plug sockets were too far from the bed. The one near the bed needed maintenance; it looked to be sticking out from the wall, and I didn't dare to use it."

"This might be considered a no-frills hotel in big cities. But in small sleepy Kampar, it's the king of the hotel scene. We've stayed here a few times now. Cleanliness is mostly good, but this trip we found lots of long black hairs on the floor, bed, and even hanging from the drawer. One of the pillow has patches of yellowish brownish stains, we got a replacement which isn't much better. Housekeeping needs to improve. We could hear muffled sounds from our neighbors. Wife also felt that the hot water ran out too quickly while she was taking a shower."

"It was a great stay. Comfortable room within the town area of Kampar, all within a limited hotel budget. Although the corridor was a bit narrow, it was understandable as it allowed for more rooms to be accommodated. The ambient lighting in the room was bright, making it suitable for work, study, or relaxation. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable experience throughout the stay. Roadside public parking, where parking coupon is needed."

"The room is old and smelly. Near to main road, it's noisy making it hard for us to sleep. Furthermore, someone or 'something' in the next room kept dragging the chair throughout the night"

"The homestay was very spacious and basic. Nothing fancy, but aircon and water heater works well. Would hv been perfect if there were power points next to bedside, which could be rectified by extension cords. Would it be too much to ask for a washing machine? Would make it a perfect 10. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Thank you."
