Is it worth 5 stars? I think, given the cheap room price of €25, it is. Of course there can be enough improvement, but it is worth more than the money. Delightful pool, friendly staff, spacious rooms and a perfect location. Yes breakfast is a bit cherish, but what do you expect for € 25? A comprehensive breakfast buffet??
My friends and I spent a short weekend holiday. The room was big and clean. Friendly front desk service. The building is close to shopping centers and food courts. We had a pleasant short holiday. I would book this hotel again.
Pro: 1. Location - Great location. Middle of Kluang Town. Everything close by. 2. Parking by coupon where you can get at nearest stall or distributor. Consider cheap 3. Comfortable and nice mattress Con: 1. Non Smoking room smell smoke. Really annoying 2. Broken lamp. I don't bother to ask for different room, not worth my time. But because of this, the room only has 30% light 3. Slippery bathroom. This is not a joke. Really slippery 4. Soundproof really bad. I can hear bird outside, rain on top of ac unit outside the room.

what we can say is that we will stay again ❤️... big room.. big bathroom.. everything is ok.. friendly staff.. for the price of rm50 you can get a room like that.. I'm satisfied.. a hotel that costs rm100 can't know like that.. huhu
This is just what this area needs: A well executed interactive farmstay within easy driving distance from Singapore. Quality accommodation, with plenty of farm animals and activities for the kids to get involved with. Outside of the animals there’s access to table tennis, swimming pool and board games in a small area near reception at the top of the hill. The lunch, dinner, coffee and desert served at the cafe exceeded expectations. The breakfast served is a unique picnic basket delivered to your door. The only issue was the utensils it comes with was a little inadequate (it’s hard to spread jam onto a pastry without a knife). Also, the lights outside the accommodation block were set on a timer to go off at 11pm. Well past our bedtime, which made it hard to get to sleep with the lights shining through the room. That said, I would definitely recommend this as a family weekend destination.
Comfortable stay, with friendly and helpful staff. The pool was surprisingly generously-sized for a place with so few rooms (and guests). We encountered a technical difficulty with the room we originally booked (the outdoor jacuzzi failed to work), and the staff graciously upgraded us to a bigger room with an indoor jacuzzi to make up for the inconvenience. After a frustrating 3 nights at the Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour, staying here, with its much more helpful staff, felt like a breath of fresh air.
Frankly, I think I gotten the room at a good bargain. However, rest assured that I will also always check on the room photos and details prior to any booking (yes, irregardless of the price). 1) Room booked is not as how decent, how clean it is as showed in the booking site, Agoda.com. 2) Received the 1st room, checked in, rather dirty and certainly not well maintained - stained walls, hair on the bed, dusty bedside table, no closet and no hangers, no bedroom slippers or towel. Upon checking with the staff, was told some of the items will only be provided upon request ; some doesn't come with it at all. 😂 Most interesting is, the staff mentioned he has no idea what is being showed on booking site! Guess what, my better half is thinking if I've booked a quick hotel. 😅 3) Well, managed to get the room changed. Seems better but well, below expectation for a so called 3 star hotel as per booking site. Huge patch of water leaking marks on the ceiling, semi-broken window blinds, etc. 4) Service level - the guy is working alone, all alone for the night. Well, doesn't seems too cheerful but at least helpful in changing the room. Overall, the hotel is kinda run down. Don't be conned by photos unless you really don't mind. I would really compliment on the nice and clean lobby but certainly not on the others, including the musky carpet along the corridor. My advise is twice twice when you make a booking. All depends if you are looking for a cheap room (so long there's a bed) or cheap quality hotel rooms. I do hope the hotel manager/ owner can really improve the hotel standards. By the way, why would there be an astray if smoking is not permitted in the room? Isn't it funny? Well.. That's just how Merdeka Hotel is.
Hotel Anika has one of the best locations in Kluang, walking distance to train station and bus terminal, lots of good food around, and only 10 min drive to Gunung Lambak. The room is basic and comes with amenities like water and toiletries, but the bedding covers have some black stains, can't ask for much with the affordable pricing.
The room is suitable for the price, the location is also strategic near to the restaurant, the parking is on the terms of who can get it as soon as possible.. Overall nice stay..
(sorry for the picture, I took it from google and agoda because I forgot to snap it that day)

GGuest UserA good budget hotel on the main road. The staff is helpful and nice, they helped me to park my bicycle next to the reception for safety. Ideal for short stay. Room is clean and amenities are sufficient. The main problem is Internet does not work.
GGuest UserFor the price, this place exceeded my expectations. It is functional, and fulfills all the requirements of a simple hotel: - The room amenities are adequate for our family and we were able to find most of the things we needed within the room. - We booked the family room, and it was spacious - definitely adequate for a family with two adults and two children. - It is also relatively clean and we felt comfortable in the room and the hotel. - The staff members we encountered during our stay were also friendly and helpful. This included the security officer who helped us with securing a parking spot for our car. The only drawback was that the sound insulation was somewhat weak. We could hear conversations from our neighbours, and there was also plenty of noise coming in from the streets. Overall good value for the price. We probably will look at this hotel again the next time we are in Kluang.
MMeander244110We booked 3 rooms on a busy weekend. The hotel is quite basic. Relatively clean rooms, but one room had a bit of toilet smell. After another round of cleaning and refreshening, it was tolerable. No coffee or tea bags provided although there was a kettle. Toiletries are basic shampoo and small bar soap. No toothbrush or toothpaste, we bought these from the Shell petrol station kiosk next door. Wifi in rooms were weak. TV reception was poor, onky a few local channels. No entertainment here. Note: the hotel have some rooms with no windows. It would be nice if they had a drinking water dispenser. Breakfast was adequate, but you won't want to waste your calories here. The hotel is easy to find (along the trunk road into Kluang), but there isn't anything interesting nearby. Not convenient for people without cars.
SSilly PapaNearby there are many nice restaurants. The room is very spacious. Unfortunately the aircon remote control is not working. Need to swift off entirely if too cold. Need to take stairs to go to our room on the 1st floor. Overall it was a good stay.
EEdifierFriendly hotel desk staffs with great services. Clean room, but amenities was limited and location little bit inconvenient. But definitely worth the price.

SSiew Chen LeeStrategic location in town centre. Walking distance to mall and restaurants and shops. We stay here 5/4/24 to 7/4/24 during Puasa month. There is bazaar nearby with many food stalls. This area is very happening , loud concert close to midnight. There traffic here is very busy , almost still when come to buka puasa time. Difficult to find street parking unless park at the mall with rm10 per the lobby staff. Personally prefer hotel with brighter colour instead dark green. The bed sheet got holes. The price is considered reasonable for budget hotel. Lobby staff are friendly . We will not consider to stay here in next visit.
AAnonymous UserOYO Oro Hotel is located in Kluang town area, accessible to lots of eatery, cafes and convenient stores. Just less than 2 minutes driving distance to my favorite kopitiam; Kluang Rail Coffee.
Room is spacious and clean, and a comfy King bed with affordable price.
WWeeKeeFor a local hotel, it is not bad. Many Singaporeans flock here because it is one of the better hotel here. Just bear in mind it is not a big city hotel in terms of service and quality. What’s good: Check-in is pretty efficient. Rooms are big and aircon is strong. Beds are fairly comfortable. It is in a central location near to good food and malls and street arts are within walking distance. Train and bus stations are at max 5-min walk away. They have quite a few family rooms that can house 4pax comfortably. What’s not: It’s a pretty basic hotel. My main complaint would be the setup. The pipes makes loud whooshing sounds when we (or my neighbor) shower or flushes. The walls are thin, made worse by the old-style connecting door. I had a crazy neighbour returning at 2.30am to their room, decided to shout at each other, play with their side of the connecting door and blasted their tv at full. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but it’s still a old hotel with sound-proofing issues. No safe in the room, though there is a fridge. From what we read, breakfast is mediocre so don’t bother. Last, don’t confuse Anika Hotel and Anika Inn. I think some OTAs do. They are very different creatures. Make sure you choose the correct hotel when making your booking.
