"Pro: Great location near to hawker centre and convenience store. Ample parking space for drivers and easy pickup and drop off if using grab. Clean & spacious room with basic amenities (shampoo, shower gel, soap and toothbrush & toothpaste). The mattress is firm so good for the back. Shower booth is very spacious which was nice, and water pressure is good. Reception is friendly. Con: No slipper is provided so recommend to bring your own. Near the mosque so there are some noises during their prayer time. You may ask for a room facing the school instead. The lift is very slow and only 1. The housekeeping in the morning is quite noisy."

"My 3rd time stay at this hotel. Overall i can say is the first (2022) and second (2023) better than this time (2025). I don't know why, but I think they need to upgrade their facilities (shower, television channel, mini refrigerator, cleanliness of mattress, got stain on it) cause its look old ☹️. But, the service soo good. They sooo friendly and welcoming. I feel very comfortable and make me want to stay again and again at Novotel whenever I go to Taiping. Btw, their breakfast quite good."

"A hostel with character! I look forward to staying there again. Great location. Within walking distance to places of interest, KTM train station, bus station, Taiping shopping centre and eating places. Lin who took care of my check in and check out was efficient and helpful. She provided a link for me to book bus ticket to JB when trains were full. She also recommended me places to go outside of Taiping. She stored my left luggage and released it to me without my having to ask. The only drawback is the opening and closing timing of the hostel. Because there are fast food places and the shopping centre, there are places you can wait in aircon comfort after the hostel closes."

"We arrived at the hotel around 2 AM, and the check-in process was smooth even at that hour. Since it was already dark, we couldn’t see much when we checked in. But to our surprise, our room had a balcony with a stunning mountain view — such a lovely sight to wake up to in the morning! The room was decent and comfortable, with a water heater in the bathroom. All basic toiletries were provided, which made our stay very convenient. A good, fuss-free place to rest. There’s also a 7-Eleven just a few steps away from the hotel — super handy for quick snacks or essentials. And if you're driving, the hotel has underground parking space too, which is definitely a plus."

"Nice budget hotel in the town of Taiping. Easy access to many shops. Room is good for solo or couple. Basic amenities such as towels, coffe, iron is provided. Also have surau at level 4"

"The place was nice, just that on check out day it was quite noisy outside as there's a shooting 🤣 but other than that, all good. Need to pay for parking ya if going on weekdays, can install the Park@Perak app to pay."

"Pros : Simple hotel. Self check in. There were 99 Speedmart, Dobi and restaurant nearby the hotel. Cons : No door marking if you need for housekeeping. Housekeeping in late afternoon. No basic toileteries available in the room. Need to bring your own."
