"new hotel with a nice decor modern facilities, end august was hot in the room 27°C, no aircon, but heated floor that was on, however excellent breakfast, restaurant a bit pricey, whole crab for 450$ , Stunning views out the window,, feeling of freedom and elevated emotions, leaving by bus to airport, stop is right in front. coming again maybe end September."

"Nice cosy room and comfortable bed. Bathroom comes with bath tub, which is great for relaxation. The breakfast is excellent with a wide spread of quality food, which I had for 3 days and still enjoyed it immensely. The polite staff clear the plates swiftly. The classy and cosy ambience of the Scandinavian designed restaurant makes the morning breakfast even more blissful. There are 2 supermarkets within walking distance where one can find everything needed. The Joker supermarket is more like a local supermarket while the Asia supermarket finds other complimentary products such as Asian favour instant noodles. There is a food truck next to the Asia supermarket which serves delicious Asian food. The green curry rice with shrimp was very delicious. It was a wonderful 3 nights stay."

"Unique and great experience staying in the ice room! Overall there were loads of activities in the Snow Hotel to try, and we are lucky enough to even see the Aurora right at the hotel itself before we joined a tour to chase the lights. For the king crab safari, it was informative. However, while everyone was entitled to taste half a crab (4 legs), they only served 2 legs first and left the rest on another table. There were some guests who took more so we didn't get our remaining share. Snowhotel should look into individual servings for fairness as we should get what we paid for. We didn't try husky sledding there but it was fun playing with the dogs."

"Very good value for money. Kirkenes isn't very big, so everything is within walking distance. No elevator for 3 floors, but a very convenient freight elevator for luggage. On the ground floor, there's a very good Chinese restaurant, the Shanghai. There's a kitchen-dining room upstairs. Photo of the freight elevator and the daylight from my window, at 2:00 a.m."

"We had a great stay at this lovely new apartment! The space was clean, modern, and perfectly sufficient for four people. The toilet was spotless, and the location was easy to find with clear instructions. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area!"
