"Simple cozy place nearby the area of Sommarøy, with a nearby convenience store for any replenishments! My wife and I went via car, so we cannot advise on the way to get there via bus. Parking is free, right outside the hotel. Breakfast was amazing and there was a good spread, with the restaurant serving dinner. Our time was short, we didn't manage to try the sauna facilities. We would have loved to stay a couple more nights!"

There were no particular problems with the room. There are no toilets or showers as they are shared facilities. You can book aurora tours and other tours from this hotel, and participate in tours at a discounted price. There is a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. Meals are provided (room service). Rental car service is available. There are lots of cats! Thoughts on the stay The floors were generally clean, as you had to change from shoes to slippers at the entrance. The cats in the hotel were also cute. The hotel itself was nice and I would like to stay again next time. One thing that was puzzling was that I never met the receptionist and didn't know where the reception was, so I was confused about that."

"This hotel is at great location, accessible to many shops and resturants. Even some tours’ meet up point is also easy to get back. View is stunning. We were able to see the northern light from our room on the 22 Nov 25. There is heating on the bathroom floor which is a plus point during cold winter. Reception staffs were friendly and understanding. Will come back to this hotel again."

"Conveniently located, walking distance to Arctic cathedral. Breakfast is excellent and very good spread . The front desk staff on 4 Oct early afternoon morning is extremely helpful. The Bristol staff whom I have placed order for early breakfast has forgotten to register my order and this front desk gentleman is kindly to help and give me the breakfast in time for my departure."

"Best hotel best spot. Although room is small but enuff for 2 of us to cook our own meal. Manage to see the aurora 3 nights in e hotels. So lucky! No aircon but weather is cool enuff. Parking right outside my cabin and EV charging area is just 2 min away from your cabin. Would recommend everyone to book tis hotel when staying in tromso."

"The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. We booked a sea-view room on the highest floor, the 10th. The two large windows offered a truly stunning view, with distant snow-capped mountains and city lights clearly visible. Downstairs, the lobby provides complimentary tea and coffee. Conveniently, there's also a Best Arctic office right next to the lobby. We booked all three of our day tours there, and the departure point was very close to the hotel. All in all, the location is excellent and incredibly convenient. Check-in was a bit slow, so be prepared to be patient."

"Location is quite convenient, at the corner of the central street and has good view of Tromso from the rooftop (not so much my room). Room appears spacious, there is additional chair and bench. However, I find it hard to use the space. There is no space to open my luggage fully unless it is on the bench. There are only 3 rather shallow hooks in the room. I ended up hanging both my jackets (which overlaps since the hooks are close to each other) and my towel but there is no more space to hang anything else! And no proper wardrobe as the “wardrobe” has dividers so it looks more like a shoe cabinet. I’m a solo traveller booking a double room, I cannot imagine if there was one more person in this space."

"Hotel is conveniently located and just 2 mins walk to the Airport Express Bus. Also easy access to grocery stores, food and Tromso port. Its a simple budget hotel with small and comfortable room. There seemed to have machine for laundry at 3rd floor for 90kr a wash. The reception is also a bar to get your drinks. There are work space in front of the 'Barception'. Staffs were cool 😎"

"This is the northernmost hotel I have ever stayed in. I flew from Oslo to Tromso early in the morning. Although I arrived at the hotel very early, the front desk lady was very enthusiastic to check in. The room facilities are very complete, especially the bed and interior decoration are very comfortable and warm. In the morning, you can see the beautiful scenery of the town covered with snow when you open the curtains, which is simply refreshing. The breakfast also impressed me. There are many choices, and you can feel the local characteristics and care in every bite. Especially the hot dishes and freshly ground coffee provide full energy for the day's journey. In addition, the hotel is also very conveniently located. You can walk to the main attractions of the town, and it is also very safe to walk around at night. Overall, this stay experience is very pleasant and it is definitely an unforgettable memory! Looking forward to the opportunity to come here for vacation again next time."
