"Security was good, they checked every vehicles enter the premises and screen everyone entering the hotel lobby. The room is spacious and comfortable. The soundproofing can be improved as I can hear people chatting while passing by the corridor. The swimming pool is down on maintenance. The breakfast buffet spread is generous and delicious."

"I love the modern interiors! The wall is amazing! The room may be small but very functional. The staff are friendly as well. Just fix the elevator Down button of the 5th floor and we are all good! I love it here. And also fix the cable so we have something to view at night."

"The hotel looks nice, and the staff are generally friendly and smiling, especially the doorman and the guard who were always ready to help get a cab. Its location is convenient, just about 6 minutes away from SM J Mall. However, there were a few disappointments. The photos showed amenities like slippers, but there were none during our stay. The hot shower also wasn’t hot. I originally booked 5 nights for a Superior Executive Room through Trip.com at ₱1,954 per night. Later, I decided to extend for 1 more night, but the front desk charged me over ₱2,900 for that additional night. When I asked why, mentioning that the Trip.com rate was still ₱1,954, the staff advised me to book directly with them instead of using the app, saying it would be “easier.” Unfortunately, that advice wasn’t helpful, and I ended up paying the higher rate. The price difference between ₱1,954 and ₱2,900 for the same room left me very disappointed, and I don’t see myself booking this hotel again."

"My first time in Maayo Hotel I was kinda hesitant since it was connected to a hospital , but I finally decided since the location is very accessible. I may say that it’s 1 of the underrated city hotels in cebu , very affordable and amenities are top grade. I loved the ambiance and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Kojo never disappoints. The location is near Parkmall, restaurants, banks, KTV, convenience stores. Everything you need is within walking distance. Breakfast is simple but filling. This is our fifth time to stay here whenever we are in the Mandaue area."
