She and her husband Ioan (popularly known as Tiscuta) built the house themselves. In those days, wood was easier to find, so they could choose from the best trees in the area. The house had to be durable and they had to choose the best wood for their house. The material was so well chosen that the wooden beams are still in perfect condition. To prove this, we have maintained the original structure of the house and in each room we have left an original wall uncovered, so that you can see, feel and touch the aroma of ancient times. The children of Tiscuta and Sena left the house in the hands of Ioana, their niece.
