The hotel was easy to find, closer to the beach than I thought when booking. Some nice places to eat nearby. Caution when swimming! There is a white wall in the pool, it’s not easy to see when you are in the water. It separates a section of the pool and the wall is not marked. Around 8-10 inches below the water surface, no markings and I swam right into it. The pool chemicals were extremely high, very strong and hurts your eyes when swimming under water.
Staff were pleasant, checkin was quick and someone showed me directly to my room. Extra money for a pool side room seemed hardly worth it. Disturbed easily by kids playing in the pool at 7am.

Amazing beachfront hostel located on the top of a 17 floors-building with breathtaking sea view. Staff was nice and helpful, the room was clean, and shared bathrooms spacious and hygienic.
What makes this property unique is, of course, it's location, which allowed an almost 360° view on the sea on one side and the hills on the other. Another detail that makes this place stand out is the remarkable size of its common space which allowed some privacy even in the hostel common area.
Definitely a great place to chill for a few days with the mild sea breeze blowing your hair 24 hours a day. I wish I'd have stayed longer than my just 2 nights stay. Talay is probably the must stay hostel in Cha Am.

I'm so glad that booked the wrong place! I actually thought the hotel would be in Hua Hin and not Cha-Am but staying at Vann Resort was absolutely perfect! Everything was great! Staff, Room, Pool, Service... everything was on top! I stayed in Vann Plus Suite -Room and it was awesome! The room had everything you need and to able to just open the door and get into to the pool or just lay next to the pool relaxing was great. Everything was modern and nice! The rain shower and the bathtub was superb! I got brekfast to my room every day and they also bring hot chocolate as a goodnight drink to you in the evening. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. the location isn't the best, its away from the beach... but you have a free shuttle service from the hotel that drops you off and pick you up at Cha Am beach. It's not the hotels fault if YOU don't check up the location of the hotel! I'm sick of people complaining about locations of their hotels when they can check it before booking! Breakfast was delicious, I tried 4 different things. If you just want to relax and enjoy your holiday in a nice quiet place, this is the place! Room Amenities: - Laptop friendly safe - Hair dryer - Rain shower & bathtub - Fridge - Aircondition & ceiling fan. - Coffe, Tea & Daily Water Bottles - Showergel, Shampoo & Conditioner (2in1) - Soap, Showercap, Sanitary bags & cotton buds - Smart TV (50”?) with Netflix, YouTube and more. Will I come again? Definitely 🥰

Fantastic getaway beachfront little paradise. The ocean loft is the best room there is and certainly worth the price, it has 180° sea view unblocked and is very spacious. The swimming pool is located literally by the beach and you can lay down contemplating the waves. The resort has food, drinks and decent breakfast and the bellman is very helpful. The beach is super quiet and clean water, I would come back for sure and if you are looking for a beautiful sea view, nice rooms and a totally beachfront location avoiding crowds this is the place.

The location is good, the price is not expensive, but the air conditioner in the room is not cold. It takes about three to four hours to turn on to feel that the room is getting cold and cold. There is a water heater in the room. There is a swimming pool provided at the hotel in the room. There are five people. I have shower cream.  And a small bottle of shampoo for use once. There is a shower cap provided, but there is no toothbrush and toothpaste to recommend. If staying in a building that is not a villa, should choose a room on the inside where the balcony is not on the road at night, with teenage children driving. Competing with each other, the room is not soundproof, there will be noise and will not receive privacy, but overall it is considered okay with this price with this place  close to tourist attractions

CCarrie DENGA very satisfying experience, what we liked the most was the slide in the swimming pool and the poolside billiards. We all had a great time.
The overall feeling was very clean, and the kitchen facilities were also well-equipped.
The host was very thoughtful, as they had prepared some cakes in the refrigerator for us as a snack before we arrived, and the next day they also brought us fruits and distilled water. The most considerate thing was that the host helped arrange a massage therapist to come to the villa for a massage, and it was really good, and the price was cheap.
Although the location is not in the city center, it only takes 15 to 20 minutes by car, and there is a beach within a 10-minute walk. If you don't drive, calling a car is also very convenient, so I don't think the location is a big problem.
We unanimously recommend it to our friends around us!

There was big couch/place to sit/play in the middle of room. We used it for our suitcases, which was very convenient for us. Another good thing is that there is one sink in the bathroom, and another sink in the room. So bye-bye long line for the bathroom!

The restaurant, bar and spa in the hotel are good choices if you don't want to go out. The price is not cheap but with high standard of five star hotel. GGuest UserThis hotel is not exactly smack in the middle of Cha-am nor Hua Hin. However, it is a true retreat by itself. Like an oasis that pops in the middle of the rural landscape just north of Cha-am, the weekend here was a bustle of activities. Very popular with families with kids. There were so many kids here filling up the main and kids’ pool on Saturday. As the weekend ended, on the late afternoon of Sunday and a good half of Monday, the resort turned peaceful. Finally, there was more water then Children. The kiddy pool has a large air-filled dome sprouting water sky high. Both kids and adults were having fun climbing up and sliding down the feature. In the main pool, they have a permanent floating obstacle course called a Wibit. It was enjoyable watching people, including children, crash and fall into the water as they attempted to complete the course. So Sofitel Hua Hin is just filled to the brim with amenities. They have a kids’ club, a mini golf full of mythical figurines and a cycling track. One can ride their complementary bicycle, or have children rent their mini mopeds, scooters and other toy-ish vehicles. They have a games room (but it was hot), a mini tennis court and a bigger one that doubles as a basketball court. 4 pools in total on this land parcel perpendicular to the sea. The one near the beachfront has a jacuzzi, and there is yet another one in front of the gym. A beach restaurant fringes the not so friendly ocean. The sea was rough and murky. The water came up the break wall that prevents the garden from spilling into the sea. There is a mini sand beach with a few deck chairs, but it wasn’t much of a beach. Breakfast and dinner, we had them in their main restaurant called White Oven. It was really an oven, the air-conditioning needs some work. Otherwise it was pleasing to sit outdoors in the light morning breeze. The breakfast was extensive, a good wide mix of local and western dishes. Moo Ping (pork satays morning version) was superbly tasty and tender. The gravy for Kanom Jin (Thai rice noodle) was of a good rich density. There was also ice cream served in the buffet. However, the chicken rice was off, and their Pla Tong Kor (dough fritters) was a failure in texture and in taste. For the two mornings I had them, I do not know if it was just me, they had a strong hint of something medical. The room we had was So Family that has two bunk beds tucked into the side behind the master bed. The room was a whopping 60 square meters and was intensely decorated. If you live in a condominium, you will wish your studio is as trendy as this. The bathroom is massive. I love the floor to ceiling shower best. They have push buttons to turn on the water. There is one that produce moderate rain, another for heavy rain, and I was looking for the third that produce hurricane. It is not available. Everywhere in the room, there are mini statues of rabbits. One is beside the loo looking at me doing my business. When my daughter was taking too l

Large children's club with good attitude of workers. Lots of children's active games in the pool and outside. we spent a lot of time at the pool. Good for families with children. Sea view from all rooms. The view in the morning is great. But the hotel is getting old and needs renovation. In our room, only hot water flowed from the shower faucet, and in the bed we found the insect that the hotel had complained about.

The beach was with high tide during the day because of full moon, so we couldn't bathe. The restaurants around are at least 1 km away or the local option is to go to a thai shop on the beach with alive seafood and they cook it on the spot. Not for our kids. The lady in the reception is Thai, she is nice but no English at all. They cleaned our room the third day. The room was clean and spacious but no windows to open through the night, so we had the AC in high temperature all night. Not what we prefer.

The Palace of Love and Hope (Marukataiyawan Palace) was built by Rama VI in 1923 to hope that his wife would give birth to a little prince. However, he finally failed to do so. After the princess gave birth to a little princess, Rama VI emigrated to Switzerland. Rama VII, succeeded by his youngest nephew, now leaves the palace as a permanent memory.

MM30***41Klai Kang Won Palace the place is under a vast refurbishment but still worth a visit, entry fee was 60 Tbt which goes along with various donation boxes dotted around the place towards the upkeep, when we visited we were told that you cannot go upstairs as this is still being renovated , you can however take a while and stroll around the grounds, there is a gift shop and small tea room at the end of the tour, also there are various attractions relating to the history of the palace. on comping out of the palace there are several bars, shops and restaurants,not fine dining but a traditional place to eat.one tip arrange your transport before you go as we did and had a 8km walk back to our hotel but hey it was a nice day!!
Cha-am Forest Park
MM30***41Visited this park with my boyfriend and two friends. We heard there were monkeys based on other reviews but unfortunately we didn’t see any when we went (4:30pm). It may be better to go earlier in the afternoon. Overall very pretty. There’s a running trail and outdoor equipment you can use. If you enjoy working out it’s a great place to go for a walk/jog/run. We didn’t stay long after we couldn’t find monkeys but wished we would’ve had time to go another day for a run. Check it out!
