"Such a wonderful stay! I would stay here again for sure! We had breakfast and dinner everyday here. It was the perfect location for lazy days by the sea. We walked along the beach almost everyday and had some of the most beautiful sunsets as well! The staff were so kind and caring, always checking on us. Even though the waters were a little rough at times, we got some swimming in! Highly recommended!"

"The location is fantastic — peaceful, right on the beach, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. There are two swimming pools, and one of them is huge, so there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy without feeling crowded. The breakfast was tasty with a nice variety to choose from, which was a great way to start the day. The only downsides were that the room felt a little dated (though still clean and comfortable), and the restaurant prices were quite high in our opinion — though to be fair, the food was delicious. The service was decent, just standard for a big hotel chain. Overall, it was a pleasant stay — a beautiful beachfront escape, but not quite your typical Marriott experience. I expect more from this price point."

"This hotel was in a great location, great service and awesome atmosphere! We even booked another night. The hotel has two swimming pools, a decent restaurant as well as beach access. They also offer scooter rentals, as the hotel is located far from any major areas of civilisation(closest 7/11 is about 4kms away), a scooter is very useful to get around and affordable. A word or caution though: The entire coastline on arrival was filthy, and we thought it was to be the case for the whole holiday, while the hotel made efforts to clear trash washing ashore it's kind of futile because there's so much in the water. This isn't the hotels fault and I'm led to believe it's a huge issue on this coast line. However, I am very happy to say on day 2 the water cleared up completely and was as clear as the ocean around Ko Samet! Overall this hotel is a great choice for a few days of quiet beach relaxation. We took a bus from Bangkok to ban phe then got a grab ( I never had issues using grab here or finding a car, as other travellers warned me would be the case) One day I will return!"

"At first the stay was the receptionist to stay in a room that had not been cleaned, but when going to inform him, he changed the room to go to a sea view room. So in the evening there are no staff and the kitchen is no people, so I can't order food to eat now, I didn't inform us what time to order food, so it's not convenient here because if you go out to find something to eat, it will be a bit far."

"Novotel is a great choice for an out of town location. Breakfast can be improved ,beach area and water was great with lots of lounges around pool and grassed shaded areas at the beach.rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, hotel upgraded us to deluxe rooms oupon check in, there's a beauty of a restaurant across the road, very good food with cheap prices and lots of everyday items for sale,"

"The hotel was very clean, and the service was excellent. The staff were incredibly attentive, from the moment they took our luggage until we reached the front desk. They even provided a shuttle service to the parking lot, which was located across from the hotel via a somewhat narrow, long path. This minor inconvenience didn't bother us at all, however, because our room was spacious, the bed was huge, and we had a wonderfully comfortable sleep. The hotel also features a peaceful private beach and possesses a unique charm, all offering great value for money compared to nearby hotels."

"Convenient location, in the city, the room is very clean, the room is very big at this cute price, I like it very much, there is a chance to go to rest again for sure."

"We had a fantastic time at the Mercure. We stayed in the Garden side, which meant that we took the van or songtaew over to the Ocean side each morning for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was delicious and sitting right by the ocean was a wonderful experience. Overall, the Garden side is much more spacious and the pool much bigger. We were happy with our choice to stay there. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; however, they are poorly designed. The sink for the bathroom is inexplicably in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. There is very little storage and not even a drying rack on the balcony for wet clothes. My final suggestion to the hotel would be to purchase sun umbrellas for each pair of sun loungers and for each sofa bed. Having only 7 sun umbrellas for the pool and bar area obviously isn’t enough. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely visit again."

"Several great things stand out: - The pool is huge, great for swimming laps. It's in the sun most of the day, though there are umbrellas & shade trees. Unlimited towels are available in the lobby. - The bathroom is clean and nicely decorated. The shower and sprayer worked well. The warm water came quickly. - The bed made it easy to get a good night's sleep. - International TV and movies - Our spacious 5th-floor balcony overlooked the pool and the beach. The location is a bit out of the way; no public transportation, so best if you drive. The breakfast buffet has too few choices. Hope you like Thai food!"

"1) location - very near the beach (5 minute walk) and near seaside restaurants and 7-11 convenience store but still very quiet and private 2) room was very spacious, clean and well organized with extra, separate beach towels and bath towels plus bath robes 3) staff was courteous and helpful - even got a 2 hour early check-in since it was the middle of the week and not to many guests arriving yet 4) rooftop pool was warm and and the positioning of the infinty edge made you think it ”extended” to the sea which brings me to the next great point - a very very nice view of the beach and surrounding areas."
