"Dated and average hotel. As many reviews have said mattress having a plastic cover is not the nicest no kettle. Rooms are on first floor and there's no lift. Was told there is no Grab service n it would be 200baht to airport. I did get a Grab so maybe it depends on time of day."
"The hotel is located at a gas station. Although it's far from the main town, in the evenings there are many affordable and delicious restaurants serving made-to-order dishes, including a BBQ pork restaurant. In the mornings, there are stalls selling congee, dim sum, and Hat Yai-style fried chicken with sticky rice. There's also a Tops supermarket and a coffee shop. It's also close to the airport, making transportation convenient. The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the airport at an affordable price."
"A beautiful quiet and clean hotel. Beautiful new rooms with a comfortable bed. Open just a few months ago. Specially searched for a hotel near the airport where it will be quiet to sleep after several flights. Selected JJ Home Resort as it is in the depth of the main road to the airport. Sleeping perfectly! No cars or planes are heard. Only in the morning can you hear the pussy from neighboring houses. Hostess Joey is very pleasant and hospitality, will answer all questions, will help with the transfer to the airport. To the airport, go no more than 10 minutes. The hotel has its own fenced area with a small recreation area. The rooms in the form of separate houses, so the neighbors are not heard. Excellent water pressure in the shower, the heater works well. It was nice to surprise a very powerful fan (usually in hotels weak).
To the nearest grocery store about 1.5 km, but you can take a bike free and go (minute 5-7). Or buy food on the way to the hotel."
"I had spent four days in Ko Samui and wanted to take the train up to Hua Hin. It is quite the journey to get to the ferry, spend a couple hours on the ferry, then catch a bus or taxi to the train station in Surat Thani. So I decided I would depart Ko Samui in the afternoon and spend one night at Neenlawat Riverside and catch the 9am train in the morning. While the location was great for me (less than 10 minutes to the train station), it is pretty isolated so if you're looking to go out while staying there you might be disappointed. The room was nice and clean. I believe most, if not all, of the rooms are standalone bungalows. I arrived early evening and had dinner and a few beers in the bar area near the pool. Food was good and the staff very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay close to the railway station."
"The hotel is 10 minutes from the airport, this is its main advantage. Delicious food in the restaurant, but it is open until 19:00. Coffee is not brewed until 10:00, only instant coffee. Breakfast is not included in the price of accommodation. There is no infrastructure within walking distance. After check-out, you can leave your things at the reception and spend time by the pool and in the restaurant. Very old and moldy sun loungers and umbrellas by the pool."
"What surprised me was that there was no bathroom in the room. You had to go down to the first floor to use the bathroom, and the stairs were very, very steep! We also have a small suitcase, which is very inconvenient, and there are no food stores within 10 kilometers nearby. We can only buy instant noodles and some water at the hotel front desk, which is twice as expensive as 711. Although the room is very warmly decorated, They use IKEA products, but I will never book a room like this again. By the way, there was no breakfast, but I was wondering if it was because we bought expensive food there at night. The service staff gave us a few slices of toast, jam, butter, and two cups of coffee in the morning, which was pretty good. friendly"
"The hotel is more than 30 minutes away from Suratthani City, in a large gas station service area, with a 7/11 store and several small restaurants, an Amazon coffee shop and ATM machines, which is quite convenient. The hotel and room facilities are average, clean, and the house is big enough. It only costs 200 yuan per night"
"Great little new hotel on the river. Rooms are clean, well equipped and spacious. The onsite cafe serves good food at reasonable prices, the staff are friendly, eager to please and the service is quick. The hotel has its own jetty on the river and theres the added bonus of a complimentary long boat shuttle for the 2 min ride across the river to the market/rail station and back again, the boatmen are there between 7:00 to 19:00 - we never had a wait. On our check out we had an early train to catch and the owner/manager very kindly took us in her car, service like that will ensure that this new hotel is a great success. The only thing this hotel is missing is a pool, but given the limited space thats understandable. Overall, a great little family run hotel, would definitely stay again."
"Sukhumvit Thani is a good place to live. The locals are very enthusiastic. After dinner, they take a walk. On the deserted village road in the suburbs, passers-by will greet them very warmly. The store saw that we had not returned to the hotel after walking in the dark. I drove to take us back to the hotel and was moved 😹"
"We are so grateful to the staff at Gasira! We arrived exhausted at 2:30am after a long train journey and had to wake the receptionist in order to check in. She was very kind and super helpful. The hotel is located a convenient 13 min walk from the train station - so even arriving late at night without taxis available wasn't a problem.
The rooms are very clean and spacious - the hotel must be new, as even the light switches have the plastic covers on still. The showers were powerful, the beds was comfortable and we received complimentary water.
Overall this hotel's everything we expected for an quick overnight stop, and the staff went above and beyond to help us"
